I am DeeperStill

Greetings in our Saviour and Lord , Jesus.

My chosen nick is DeeperStill. The name comes from a song written by Bebo Norman. I have used this name for many years online.

I found this chat/forum when a young moderator in my own irc chat channel informed me that he found a cool chat place. I thought Id come and check it out too.

I hope to meet many of my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus here, and I hope some good friendships result.

Thank you all for the nice welcome. I am indeed 51. my sons are ages 31,24 and 13 ( will be 14 in Oct.)

The Avatar is about 5 years old. So of course I look younger in it than I really am.

Can anyone tell me if there is a General , shoot the breeze , forum? When I look at the list of forums I do not see any for just fellowship. like a Coffee house and Linger longer place.

Maybe a games or humor forum?

Try the Misc forum, especially the "compulsive posters thread" perhaps not many "adults there, but atleast it's quite random

or you could probably make a thread of your own if you want something else

Welcome to CC !! I am Paws4Jesus, because I rescue dogs lol. I am 49, accepted Christ into my life again in March of this year (after being raised in a nice church as a child but as teen of course went my 'own' way). I am married (I think) but that is subject to change, no matter how hard I work on it, my marriage is in great turmoil. I live on 10 acres in a small town with more cows than people, where I have two dogs, 3 barn cats and 4 horses. I rescue horses as well as dogs hence 3 of them are rescues and only one was purchased. I manage the farm, do the chores, and work a 40 hour work week (shiftwork) so it does take a lot out of me.
Praise God I found this site and all of the lovely Christians here. I am truly blessed that God has waited for me to come to my senses and come back to Him. Even in the turmoil of what is now my life, I know God is working, giving me strength to do all I have to do in a day, and most importantly peace, so that I can carry on each day with less and less worry the more I draw closer to Him.
