My name is Stephen, I have been dealing with a horrible trial for 12 months. I have turnd to my Lord Jesus Christ and turned my back to sin 98% of the way. I have now learned that my peace lies in Gods will and not in mine, in Gods plan for me Not in mine. I WANT PEACE , I SEEK GODS PEACE IN GODS WILL, AMEN

Welcome :)

That is a good attitude, but so easy to forget. "Seek first the kingdom of God".

Welcome to CC Seekingg! You are right about peace being found in being in God's will.

I'll share something that helped me, Luke 11:13. How much more will your Heavenly Father give The Holy Spirit to those that ask Him?

If you ask Jesus to fill you with The Holy Spirit, He'll do it. :) God bless! -JIM

Welcome Seekingg....Just keep seeking Jesus face in all you do...Peter began to sink under water because he took his eyes off of Jesus and allowed the storm to consume him....Just remember His thoughts are higher then your thoughts....His ways is higher then your ways...

Amen brother, I love the peace that the Lord Jesus has given to me. I find it a comfort that this life is temporary. That everything here will end and then life truly begins :) I love the trials, and the hurt. I love the sun and the rain. I do really consider it all joy, brother :) If its a pain that God uses to purify my soul then AMEN! if its a devastating loss I had to suffer in order to understand someone elses pain, then PRAISE GOD!! if I was blessed with something that allows me to bless others, AMEN, but equally so if I lose that which I was blessed with to try my faith then PRAISE GOD! I cherish every opportunity to prove my love for our God and Savior through all trials He deems me worthy of. It is all for Him. My health, my job, my family, my friends and even my dreams. They are all for Him, that is my peace. That is also my pleasure, and believe me :) it is my purpose! welcome to CC brother, and stay blessed.

As you surrender YOUR ALL..your 100% to the Lord, He will sustain you, redeem you, make you whole. The fact that you are seeking shows a humility that pleases the Lord. Stand fast and watch how He will begin to unfold his purpose in your life as you continue to SEEK HIM WITH ALL YOU'VE GOT. Have a blessed day today! Claim your victory in the Lord.

Praying for you, Stephen, in this trial...don't give up! Trust God no matter what happens. Only He can bring about good things when everything looks bleak.

Bless you Stephen as you travel through these difficult times.

There is a prompting to share with you, my pain.

Last year was the beginning of several devastating blows, which continues today.
While on a long drive, I hit the end of my ability to cling desperately to Christ. Driving down the road, tears filled my eyes and gushed silently down my cheeks.

Taking a deep breath, I spoke out loud.....

"Jesus, I'm exhausted!!! "No longer do I have the strength or ability to cling to you. You have to hold onto me now!!!!"

Sixty miles later, on the interstate, at 77mpr going through the Smokey Mountains......
BOOM!! An explosion!!
A glance in my rearview mirror revealed the explosion source.
The tractor-trailer I just passed seconds before... blew his driver-side, tractor tire!!!! Had I been next to him, there would have been a serious Semi vs Car crash.

With a somber voice I replied, "Thank you, Jesus" "Thank you for not letting go of me." Still, faith was decreasing. But, something inside trusted Him, His word. I had become like a limp doll without the stuffing...if picked up from the center...I looked like a dish towel.

Last years circumstances, heartache & turmoil have continued to worsen. I've yet to regain the strength to cling tightly to Him. In spite of it all....I love Jesus. I love Him for loving me and not forsaking me.

As a small solution....I purchased a book of God's Promises because the hurt inside hinders my thoughts, my prayers, my comprehension of His word. He hears my heart. No matter what; I give thanks, praise and worship.

Jesus has blessed me with His great Peace. The very Peace that surpasses ALL understanding. This blessing is for you also!!

Stephen, God Promises are for you!!!!

Picture/visualize Jesus holding you tight!! He will not leave nor forsake you...He Promised!!! His love, His Peace, His mercy, His compassion, His grace....it's ALL yours!!!
Trust Him, Love Him!! He will hold you tight!!!!.

I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.

Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:27

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving

let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
