Hello Jasondaniel, I too am from BC... central. Welcome to Christian Chat. As far as your relationship goes, there isnt enough info to comment. If you put the cart b4 the horse so to speak and are living together, most (including me) would recommend time apart and abstenance b4 marriage. Only you know if your relationship will improve or not... only you know your issues. Marriage is ONCE so make it the right girl & if there are serious issues, never think that a wedding ring will fix anything. It is important though to have God at the head of your household & if you can find her, a woman who believes in the biblical roles of a woman. She can be modern, hip and fun and still be loyal to what God and her husband want. The only advise I have for you is to Love her. & if you dont love her, dont marry her. maybe once you've been on here for awhile you'll gain insite. I also dont know your spiritual background, I would recommend seeking God first, then seeking your partner. God bless you as you make your life's decision. Oh... if you dont see yourself ever marrying her... dont waste her time or yours.

well your definately right about the abstinance thing we are living together on and off just recently a week going on 2 since i was last here in march before that 10 months together we know its wrong and im sure that leaves an open door for the enemy were both christian we love each other.we met in church here 3 years ago im a recovering alcoholic she definately knows that she stuck by my side through thick and thin.she has certain bad habits that really bother me nothing to do with alcohol or drugs,(all though that on my part is really bad for us ) personal habits that sometimes irritate me when i try to talk about them she gets defensive and upset.im hoping things will change. as for the abstinance thing im at her place here in pg till we move to my home town in fsj were just waiting to pack up here and move untill we move we have no choice. we did aim for sept 13th gettting married im wondering if us not being on the right track and living together is giving the devil the right to attack us.In fort st john we will start to attend my church ,its a real good church the very pastor there in a different church baptised me in 87 in my mind the best church in town we need our relationship blessed though im sure it wont till were married.Thank you for your advice
