Hi everyone/anyone :)

My name is Melody, and I've been a Christian for as long as I can remember. I love my church, but there aren't really any people there at my age and stage of life (23). I moved to QLD when I got married, and I'm still trying to connect with like-minded Christians of my age...so if you're out there, I'd love to chat with you!

I'm a massage therapist with my own business. My husband, Karl, is a graphic designer and works for a Christian curriculum company called Southern Cross Educational Enterprises. They distribute the ACE curriculum (in case any of you out there have used it!).

I have fairly conservative Christian views, with an open mind, and a desire to always learn "why?"

Looking forward to meeting you.

Melody

Hello Melody,

Welcome to Christian Chat, there are tons of people here who are like minded with Christian values and few older folks with good values too! Enjoy your time here.

In Christ,

Paul

No worries, mate. It's a happy accident. I hadn't been greeted by anyone on this board previously, so thanks. :)
It's Friday, mid-afternoon (4:20pm) in my part of Australia.

Please, Melody,
Tell me about Queensland. Tell me about Brisbane, Cairns & the Gold Coast. Why is it called the Gold Coast? Have you seen the Great Barrier Reef? I see the Torres Strait on the map, right across the water from New Guinea. Wow!! I want to know everything ). Have you ever heard of the Nullarbor Plains & the railroads there? Tell me about the outback. Where is Ayers Rock? Have you seen it? The Aborigines; I want to know. I have a didgeridoo in my house hanging on the wall. It's small but works perfectly. One of the bands I perform with used to do shows at a Renaissance Fair here in southern Ohio. One year these bands came from overseas. I met musicians from England & Australia, amongst many others. I got the didgeridoo from one of them. I want know everything & I'm sorry it's you that's been taken hostage for this dissertation but, I know of no other ).
Thank You,
Mike
