Needing Friends to Talk to

Hi All,
My name is Amanda, I go by KeiraKat in most of my games and such so feel free to use either. I am a 29 year old mother of three, I live with them and my new fiance in a house we are renting from my grandparents. My fiance and I are both going through divorces, his is much simpler than mine though. We are like most struggling financially as I have been out of work for a while..
He is a recently saved/ recently re-born-again...and we are both seeking spiritual advice and guidance. He is very much against most organized church denominations due to the injection of personal opinion and personal beliefs that get mixed into the Word of God and muddy things or add context that shouldn't be there. He likes and appreciates the straight forward word with the simplest translation to its meaning or point.
I grew up very Baptist and though I have never completely agreed with their views it was until recently the closest to my own views as I thought I would get...we are both judged WAY too often due to our current living situation, our tattoos, occasional music choices, etc...

Just need a friend or two....who understands and can accept me/us for who we are and have fun chatting.

Hiya, yano you shouldn't care what anyone else says
Just think aabout god and he's judgemen.. But the true straight forward
Gospel is better than the compremise you find in most churches
I just see it as we only allow our spirit to rise up so much then where weak like
The man we are and let flesh take over, I can only advise from my given situation
But I do no that jesus in me wouldn't get a tatto or sit and listen to hard metal
We have to get to that stage in our christian journeys where
We are mirroring the image of christ.. But I completely understand
What your saying but its your flesh which in time you will die to self on the cross
And your spirit will completely take over living a holy life just seek our father
Read the word becoz this inheritence he's left us is our way of living the life he wants for us
And fellowship and in time you will see the difference, hope I was a help amander my dear sister

Amanda, this is a good place to make friends. 29 is just about the age when you figure out who you are in Christ, and get started on being where God wants you. Music preferences and tatoos are irrelevant to the Kingdom of God. If your husband is recently saved (and that's what he probably is in God's eyes - I'd need more information to compare the actual Scriptures to know for sure) and so is in need of discipleship. Church is irrelevant, but having people to pray with and share your walk with is not. Hopefully you can find some near where you are that you can trust, and who can trust you as you are, that you are sincere about following Jesus.
