Hi in-the-middle.

Go to whichever church teaches the most sound doctrine. Don't worry about anything else.

Hey... I have never heard of this situation before but if it were me, I would go to the church that is most interesting to me. On the other hand, I know how parents can be when it comes to this kind of thing. I will keep praying for u and maybe I will ask my parents for their opinion!!

P.s. Welcome to CC. God Bless!!!!

The book of revelation in an interesting choice, I find that reading Luke and/or John and James better books to start off with.

Hi in-the-middle. When I was a new Christian, I was going to a Southern Baptist church. Like most new Christians, I was a babe in the things of God, but full of enthusiasm. About that time, I ran across a group of Jehovah's witnesses. I was impressed with their knowledge of the Bible and their dedication. After a few weeks, I was very confused and distressed, just as you are. If I left the Baptist church, my friends and family would be angry and wouldn't understand, but I really wanted to do what God wanted me to do, no matter what the cost.... but I didn't want to make a mistake either!!! Back and forth I would go. I was so confused. I was setting the the church parking lot one night, almost in tears, pleading with God to show me the way. I came across a verse in Proverbs: "In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths". I clung to that verse and said "God, you promised! Show me what to do!". I knew that night that I was to stay right where I was, at least for the time being. I had instant peace. I didn't know WHY the Jehovah's were wrong, I just knew where God wanted me. It has been 20 years since then. Now I know that all the different colors of the Christian faith have their faults, just as we as people do. There is only one God, and once source of salvation, and that is his Son, Jesus Christ. There is only ONE name by which men can be saved....Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords. I know your heart is searching for God, just ask Him to show you the way, and you'll know, and you'll be at peace, and a wonderful journey will begin.
