Hey. I am new to Christian Chat. I don't know everything about how this site works yet. Or how chat works. How do I delete this thread?

Welcome to CC. You can chat by clicking on the Chat Rooms & Forum tab on top of the page and then select if you will use a cam or not and if you want to hear ppl talk. I would suggest you hear people. Then you can select the room. The lounge is kinda a meet and greet room, but there are some regulars there. I would suggest you read up on the rules just so you know what is and is not acceptable in this site. If you have any questions please ask. I've been here a few months and love it. Catch you around. Hi and welcome. Well, there are two ways to delete a thread.

1) PM a mod and ask him/her to delete it. This is of course the standard way and many prefer it.

2) Then there is one more way to delete a thread but it is a bit radical. Look below and see how it works.

How do you PM a mod? What does PM mean? Does mod mean moderator? And that means someone who controls the stuff on the site, right?

Does PM mean Post Message?

Well, I have already been in the chat rooms, at least some of them, before.

If you want to delete this thread all you have to do is click the report button: the exclamation mark with the triangle and ask nicely if a mod (moderator) will delete it for you.

pm stands for private message but I don't think that will help you because you have to know the mods names to be able to send one.

the report button sends it to whoever is on duty at the time and more likely get a response

would you like for this thread to be deleted?
