I tried saying hi in this forum a day ago, I guess I was either over looked or not that interesting. That's ok. I forgive you guys . I'm a married christian woman with 2 kids, some pets, a part time job, and a laptop so I am dangerous :p. I enjoy Investigation Discovery channel. Factual based documentries are always more appealing to me than fiction. Been saved since 97, back slid after a while, got back on track a couple years ago. To me being a christian is work, isn't for the faint of heart, and not for people who aren't sure. It takes devotion and time, and I'm working on this. I'm not perfect, I hope I never come off as seeing myself as perfect. I'm here to enjoy conversation with adults, maybe learn a thing or two or three, and share my story and experience with others along with my bad spelling. ask me anything, I might tell ya if it's not too personal. Take care.

Welcome to CC, Jinx! I wouldn't worry about that, I tried introducing myself on the forums and only received a reply three or four days later and I'm an Aussie! :p Try not to take it to heart. There's a lot of activity on the forums and the introduction threads easily get lost amongst everything else. But I hope you enjoy your stay, have some quality discussion, get to know a few members and grow in your love for Christ and others. God Bless!

Hello. I was here some time ago but only got my computer back yesterday, literally. Welcome. I'm a mom too, 2 teenagers, also work part time (right now, hope to go full time soon) I don't feel being a Christian is work but it does require time, but that time shouldn't feel like work. It should be time you want to spend getting to know God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I read various books to help me understand scripture, the Holy Spirit, etc. I watch various preachers on tv (Joyce Meyer & Joseph Prince are my favorites). I love to attend the 2 weekly bible studies at my church but can't always make it and that's just due to the cost of gas and my new work schedule. I never go anywhere without my bible, notebook and whatever book I'm currently reading. My schedule sometimes gives me an hour or two within the day and I will get lunch or a soda at Wendy's or El Pollo Loco (preferably) and read and study. A few times this has sparked a conversation, a question or just a "good job, I should do that more".

God Bless

Welcome to CC. Not sure what your original post was, some people only say things like 'hi i'm new' and posts like that often get overlooked as the people say nothing. We know they're new, or they wouldn't be posting in the new users section, and they offer nothing else. If you did say more, then it could just be bad timing, or maybe a lot of new people joined and your post got pushed off the page quickly.
