Needs spiritual help.

I have been a christian for long and at a time I had a realy good relationship with God. But as I grew older I began fall short of God's glory because of some of the things I indulge in. But of all I been plagued with sexual chating and masturbation. Every time I do it I feel very bad but I do it anyways. I have tried very had to stop it,some times I make up my mind and I actualy do stop it. Bt 1 way or another after some time I still see myself goin back to my vomit. I realy don't want to continue with this kinda life, I NEED SPIRITUAL HELP.

Hi Okha, first of all welcome and congratz on taking the first step on adressing your issue.

We all have terrible things that the enemy keeps bringing to us as temptations in order to slip, and when things get rough, help is always a good thing to seek along with God.
One thing i can recomend is to find the triggers, ussualy if you pay attention you can spot what sets these feelings in motion. Once you star catching what causes them set a process to put your mind on a different path, anything from push-ups, prayin, reading the bible, walking, or even come grab one of us.

Finding our peace within our issues makes it easier to fight them off and the bad spirit that brings them.

Although Paul was speaking in reference to two people interested in or in this case better stated as espoused to each other and cannot wait to be formally married, I do believe it is the answer to so many common occurrences among human sexuality and behavior.

If you first understand that what you feel (sexual urges) are God created as part of human nature; stop self-condemning and simply pray with all sincerity and seek Divine guidance and strength;mental strength to control these urges to "get off", then you will have peace and control.

Take time to read positive information concerning proper attitude concerning human sexuality. This is a very personal area that Satan can use to make a Believer think that they have committed an unforgivable sin--not so. Jesus died on the cross for all our sins. Sins that we haven't committed and present sin.

Sexuality, this is an issue that most female & male overlook in their education. Again, seek Godly wholesome literature that provide information on this subject in an intelligent manner and without pornographic content.

You are in a position to overcome through Jesus. Above all, stop condemning yourself; you have victory in Christ Jesus that is your strength--spiritually and naturally.

I will pray for you and that you accept the victory that is already yours.

Hi Okha welcome, glad you are here, so very very happy you are here so I know exactly what you are going through. I had a porn addiction and masturbated and lusted so much, and I did the sexual chatting too. It's good that you know that things certain things are considered immoral, you know? Haha because if you think about this world, some people find it "natural" to lust and masturbate, but that isn't and it does lead to death. Death in the mind, it just degrades our mind and we get that disgusting feeling. I kept going back to it soooo much, until basically what my name says April 5, 2013. I had struggled for 13 years, I had a really bad start of a background in life. I knew the Christian life and how happy people were, but I never saw the struggle and how people overcome it with God. But I kept going far from God then coming back, and just back and forth and back and forth, I was getting tired, but the temptations and the addiction of it, it feels good but in the worse way ever. You don't want to so this anymore, just if you really want something, if you seek God with all your heart, He will be here. Jeremiah 29:13 you will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart i used to not believe it was true because i was just wishing and wanting to get over the addiction, rather than find God, i thought i was but, then if you really want help, just pray. you have no idea how powerful prayer is, again haha I did not believe, because I hadlost hope in really ever hearing from God or having a "sign" but i asked and prayed for this addiction to be gone and for me to just stop. Matthew 7:7-11 Ask and you will recieve. And He did answer, and it was just like 2 weeks ago and now I am free and happy and have no desire to go back but to only go forward. God loves you sooo soo much, I'm telling you seek Him and He won't abandon you. He is here already, He is not going to let you fall, He has you right in His loving arms. Let out and speak about your troubles to Him, everything that you wish. You don't really want to let your life become bonded by such horrible things, each second that you are living adds up to your life and you want to be the happiest and live it with such freedom in the heart and that freedom, love and happiness only comes from God if you need to talk or anything, first God is there, but I will also listen to you too God bless you so much, I will pray for you as well oh and you should check out the song 10,000 reasons by Matt Redman.. That's the song that God really touched me by and I was just listening to it and the Holy Spirit a touched me for the first time ever and just completely freed me in one second. All of my past, my sins, my unwanting, troubling temptations just vanished. It sounds unreal, and I can't believe myself, and I thought it would never happen to me, but I am free and it feels so good to be with God
