Hi Beloveds. I am a new member who's in need of help. I had been going to my old church for 2 years before i left and joined a new church. I left because i did not serve in the church because the ministry i wanted to join i was told that they were stil waiting on God to tell them what to do, and how to conduct worship and so they asked to rather join them in praying for that ministry. I got so hurt because i desperately wanted to join and so from that i started focusing on all that was wrong in the church and i even started talking to my friends about those problems. As i speak, none of those friends of mine go to church at all and one of them was not even saved and got saved at that church. I admit i did more harm than good not only to me but to those souls. Ok, then i decided that I am going to join a church where I can serve and hopefuly that will get me even closer to God. So i join choir and get involved in evanglism and prayer for the church as well as leading homecell. In all this, it might have made me feel better that i was serving the church but i was not serving God because I was even further away from Him than when I was i the previous church. I realised i was in search of perfecting my life whereas God was more than capable of doing just that where I was. The church that i go to is awesome, the people there are great, but after having a dream where i was with the pastors in the old church i started questioning whether thiswas were God wanted me to be. After that i had incidents such as switching on the tv and not even literally switching channels, but first thing that comes up that screen is a song sang by the members of the church band which was released the year i joined the church and then the next morning my sister plays a song i learn't at that specific church (me and my sis dont go to the same church) Now i really dont know what to do, stay or go back.
