Hello everyone,

I am a new member looking for some Christian marriage advice. I have been married for almost 1 year and we have already seemed to hit a pretty rough patch. I am having very negative feelings toward my husband. Don't get me wrong I love him more than I could even explain but lately...things have been bad. Please help with some Christian words of wisdoms and in sight as to how to make a marriage stronger and get through the rough patches.

Hello and welcome to the community :) I will be keeping you and your loved one in prayer.

I would recommend starting a thread in the family section of the forums so you can get more exposure to your topic.

God Bless!!

Mature Christians do not go by feelings. The negative feelings are there, so God can raise your love to the same kind of love He has for you. He loves you by choice, not by how He feels about your recent behavior. Your body cannot stay on a feeling of high forever; there is a chemical pendulum swing. This whole thing is normal, and it is God making the marriage better.

About the bad things in a marriage: The two of you are one now. No matter what it looks like or feels like, any problem one of you face is a problem for you both. You are also both part of the solution.
