Born again

Hello my name is magan I just got saved tonight by the grace of God. I'm so thankful. I backslid almost 8 years ago and I felt so bonded like I couldn't just be forgiven that easily and tonight I was praying and I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and to come in to my heart. I wanted to tell someone that I got saved and I would like to get to know some Christians and be friends.

there are a lot of mature Christian women around here that I'm sure would love to talk to you.

This is wonderful news, Megan. The path of a believer is one requiring faith that God is in control in spite of the world's persecution of people of faith and principle. It is very important that you find a church that supports the belief in God's providence and that will nurture you and admonish you to righteousness. All too often new believers are neglected and become complacent or discouraged. I encourage you to listen to John Macarthur's series on Perseverance of the Saints. It is excellent!
