I was driving home alone in the car today, I had just dropped off one of my dogs that I found a good new home for, this is something that needs to be done for various reason's. As I drove I spoke to the Lord which I find I do not do enough off. I do not pray enough, I do not read the word enough, and I could go on and on.
We are so fortunate you and I, because everytime I turn to Him, He is there, whenever I need an encouraging word, He send someone to give me one, or allows me the splendour of seeing a rainbow, or I notice some pretty flower, all a reminder that He is there. He loves you my friend, He is true to His word, which says, "I JoanD will never leave you or forsake you. "I know the plans I have just for you JoanD, they are plans to prosper you, not to hurt you.
If we all had to go to church, and had to always do and say the right thing, this would then mean that we are working our way into heaven girl....................But no salvation is a FREE gift for all those who come to Christ Jesus, who search His face, His will, who have a personal relationship with Him, because He is a personal God.
When we turn away from the Lord, and come back to know Him, there is such a celebration in heaven because you came home. I know the Lord knows your heart, and knowing Jesus and having Him as our saviour, does not mean that life is now all so easy, it means we have a heavenly father to lean on, in means we have someone to share our inner most hopes and desires and disappointment.
He is there waiting to just wrap you in His arms, enjoy the comfort!
