B
As the world fades away, I am reminded of a story
About a man who left his home above
To show us the way in all his glory
Spreading the greatest gift of all
Filling our hearts with love
The people were filled with rage
They hung him on a tree
Crucified him on Calvary
Crown him with a crown of thorns
Mock him as they nailed him to a tree
Oh how much he loved us
To bear the cross at Calvary
To die that we might be free
To live again that we might live
He took up the burden that was meant for me
To bear the stripes he had endure
To carry the cross stained with blood
He paid a debt he did not owe
And I owe a debt I could not pay
Thank you my Lord, Christ Jesus
