Hello there,

My name is Linette, and I'm new to the Christian Chat Community. I'm a good listener, and I'd love to hear about ways that you're bearing good fruit for Christ. As for me, I've been passing out gospel tracts to different folks that I meet -- offering them something as simple as a smile and a helping hand.

Your turn...:)

Thanks for my welcome Linette and welcome to you too. I am not sure how this posting stuff works! I replied to your welcome but it's on my own post, is that right do you know? Anyhow, in case you don't see it, Rev 3:20 is one of my favourite verses and Jesus has kept His promise of always being with me since I let Him into my life. He is truly wonderful. Viva

Hello Linette. My name is Gabriel. Welcome to CC. Hope you make some new friends here. As far as bearing fruit for Christ I donate money and items to help the sick and the poor and I have been praying for others and encouraging them in the midst of their struggles through God's word. When I finally start working as a pharmacy technician I will be helping the sick by preparing their IV's, compounding specialized medications and preparing their prescriptions.

Hi Gabriel, what a pleasure to hear from you! You're bearing some wonderful fruit for Christ, and I'd like to be an encouragement to you. Helping the poor and the sick are indeed close to God's own heart -- as Christ himself continues to be our "Great Physician" :) Remember John 4:34 and keep up the good work. I pray the Lord will bless you in the field of pharmacology, and may you come to the aid of thousands in the name of Jesus!

Please add me as a friend. I'm a good listener and I care.

Thank you very much Linette! I have added you :). I am not sure how John 4:34 relates but the passage that is dear to my heart is Matthew 25:37-40 where people ask Jesus "when did we see you thirsty and give u something to drink...when did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?" and Jesus says "whatever you have done to these, the least of my brothers and sisters, you have also done it to me."
