Hi,
My name is Dotann and I am a Christian since age 13. I am now 47 years old. I am married, I have one son who is 25.
I am Lay Pastor,a Gospel single/songwriter/entertainer and my husband helps me as a soloist for we are a team as he manages me and takes care of the sound equipment while I am performing. as well as is a wonderful husband!

I Occassionaly give the odd sermons here and there as part of my Pastoring and serve where ever the Lord takes me.

My faith is very strong and I have had many trials in my life that God has brought me through.

I have had a cerabella stroke in 2005 and at the time, I could not even walk, but God helped me with rehibillitaion and much prayer to where now I have overcome these obstaclles and am able to carry on.

I still have troubles with the stroke symptoms now and then, as Paul was left with reminders too, to keep him humble, I too have been reminded that we dont have to rid the storm to prove God is with us, but to show that riding the storm through sometimes creates more character and humility within us and it helps more people to see His strength and love. as well as shows others that they are not alone. What a great way to show compassion from me to others, as when I say to them I know how you feel, they really believe me and it makes my wittness count.

He has blessed me every day and each day I know not to take life forgranted. I Praise Him and surrender all I have. I still have so far to go for I am not perfect yet,as the good Lord knows, but I am better than yesterday, and hope I am in a better glimpse for tomorrow, with God's help.

Thank You Jesus my Saviour for what you have given to me, my Saviour, my Friend my All!

Hi Cako 53

I am in Ontario. I dont know how awesome I am,, but I do know how awseome He is for sure! I have survived death over and over again. I have had many things happen to me.

I lost my marriage of over 20 years who was an alcoholic, I lost my home, my job, my health and my sanity all within a week and God was the only thing I had left. He brought me through it all and that was over 10 years ago and at the time, I thought it was the worst thing that could ever happen to me, but as it turns out, it was the best.

God showed me how to lean on Him and He gave me a new husband who was a christian, a new home, and now I am a Lay Pastor and have a singing career where God gives me thorugh devine intervention the songs as I dont read or write music but hear the songs in my head like a tape recorder playing and I hear every word as well as each instrument that is played along with the style for each song.

God is the one who gets the credit. Not me. I am just the pen and God is the one who controls the pen.

Together, my husband and I now serve the Lord where ever He takes us in this ministry.

Thanks for your encouragement!

What an amazing testimony! I also live in Ontario, lol. I'm right outside of Ottawa. It is so encouraging to see you doing what God wants you to do. You are an inspiration to me, as I am looking at going into the youth ministry. Thanks for sharing with me, and again, welcome to the forums. God bless you.
