Hi, im Joanna, and I need your help! My friend comited suicide, he is only 30 years old. The situation is, he's still fighting in hospital. I've just realised the situation he's soul must be in, I have prayed a rossmary for him, but I'm frightent, I need help! HOW TO PRAY FOR A PERSON WHO COMITED SUICIDE?

This site is Christian, not Catholic. So praying a 'rosary' for him isn't really considered a Christian thing. But 'committed suicide' means he's dead. But you say hes in the hospital.
Based off of much of your wording you may be suited to seek out a Catholic site. There are Catholics on the site, but most are not. So the kinds of answers you're seeking will not be well supported.

I'm not saying you can't ask. I'm just explaining to you that you may not receive much help as this is not a Catholic site. There are people here that do not accept Catholics as Christians. So it wouldn't matter if your friend was Catholic or not to them.

Also, you only have a five minute window to delete or edit posts. But you don't need to delete it.

Sorry for your friend, though. It's always a sad thing when someone feels the need to take their own life. I know, i have considered it at times in the past.

Father God in Heaven, if this young man is still alive, we agree that You will keep
him in Your care. As he lay there in the hospital Lord Jesus, we ask You to please
do not let the enemy take his soul. You died Jesus for all. There is a soul at stake
here and we know satan would delight in having him. I speak life to him in Jesus
name Father, and believe You will bring him back into this world a better person.
Whatever made him feel he had to leave it, we ask that You give him a hope. Send
someone into his room and let them give him encouragement please. This I ask
in Jesus name. Amen

Try reading my posts if you aren't understanding why it matters. And they are not simply asking for other people to pray. If you read the OP.

Excuse me, Ugly. You came across as rude and crude to her. I know she
did not ask anyone else to pray. What business is it of yours if 50 people
offered to pray on the board for her. Shame on you. You should be grateful
there are people who do care, and I am sorry if my prayer offended you.
But, you know what? She probably left here anyway and I wasn't praying
to her or you, I was sincerely praying to God in Heaven for a young man
whose life MIGHT have been hanging in the balance. So, just remember
one day, you might need prayer, and you know what ? Even if you don't
ask for it, you would be prayed for anyway. That is how much the Lord cares
about His children.
Now I hope you have a good evening. Good night.

Dear JoannaT,
He is still alive. Name above all names is Jesus. Trust Him and ask for his help. God can save his soul and his body. The blood of Jesus cleanses all sins. Please ask God for his salvation. Please also ask for God to save him from death. All thing are possible for God. I pray for your friend's salvation and healing. In the mighty and matchless name of JESUS. Amen.

Wow. I tried to be nice by informing her about the site and what she can expect and you people put me down. Who's really the problem here? Me? Or the people who want to put me down for letting her know that her expectations may not be met? If that's rude, crude and shameful to you then i feel sorry for your warped perceptions.

And i don't remember saying it was my business whether others prayed. So now you're throwing false accusations at me.

I didn't even notice your prayer. If you look, i wasn't even talking to you. I was talking to Raf. That's why, in my post, i had HIS post quoted. Because i was talking to him. So it's not all about you JK. I sure see a lot of critical attitudes and ignorance coming from people so eager to put down my good intentions.

And not coming back? It shows shes been in PM. So obviously she didn't leave. So your unfounded attempt to shame me failed.

Dear Ugly,
Would God be happy with your answer to Joanna? [SUP]John 3:16 [/SUP]For God so loved the world (not evangelists, pentecosts, Jews, etc. but the WORLD which includes Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, ALL) that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

May God Bless you.

I am so sorry that you're going through this. I pray that God will place someone at your friend's side at a pivotal time, if he is to leave this place, and that he will accept Christ as his Savior, if he hasn't already. I also ask that God bring peace and comfort to his family, as their pain is only beginning. I suggest that you find someone to talk to about this that can help you process your fears regarding your friend's actions and help you overcome the burden you're feeling. Losing someone is always difficult and in times when suicide is attempted or successful, that is when those closest to the person need each other most.

Pray that he find Christ before leaving this world and that the Lord's will be done. Is he conscious or is he in a coma? Do they expect him to survive? These are things that would be good for those praying for him to know.

Lord, bring peace and comfort as only You can. You alone know the pain this person was going through and what drive them to take this action. I ask that you cover this person's family right now and bring them comfort and that you cover Joanna and help her to find You in the midst of all this pain. In Your name I ask this, Jesus. Amen.

You drive with air in your tires?

You should try driving on the rims. Woooooo wild ride!

And Joanna, I will pray for your friend tonight. I understand that you are looking for a catholic priest's input on suicide, but you may want to open that up to the protestant viewpoint too. I think that's all Ugly was saying. You will get a lot of protestant viewpoints here, although there are some Catholics here too.

Just one more clarification, my friend, he's on lifesupport, noly because he's an organ donor. But, there's ONE IMPULSE on the maschines screen traveling constantly... and no one knows what this impulse means... but I do. I presume.. thats why I called everyone, including you, good people, to pray with me... the chanses of him waking up are slim to none.. this is not a matter of will he live, but in fackt, i beleave, theres a battle going on in him.. a battle for his soul... thats why i pray to God to be merciful to my friend (and english is not my native language, so try not to missunderstand me)
