Hey. I'm Jessica. I came here hoping to find some people who are here to chat when I need to talk and who have similar views.

Don't know what else to say...

Um, complicated or simple?

I go to a Pentacostal church. But, it is mild compared to our previous church.

Let me know if you want complicated...

Well, it's not that complicated, it's just what I believe and not what everyone believes that I'm around.

I think that people being told that they're born sinners gives them good excuses to have to repent instead of doing the right thing in the first place.

I believe that it's not up to me to decide and condemn someone for believing different from me or practicing something I was taught is wrong.

I believe that I can change more people's minds by showing them a good example of a Christian (in me) than my telling them that they're on the wrong path.

I believe that more people should be asking, "Does what I'm doing please God?"

I'll start with those.

I have no idea. hahaha

I just, sometimes, hear stuff and see stuff in and around church where I go "HUH?"

I'm new at it all, even though I've gone to church my whole life, so I think people don't put value in what I say.

So, on another note, I have a son named Liam.

Well, I was raised by a 70s woman. So, I have that Helen Reddy thing slightly ingrained. But, both of my grandmothers are/were housewives and were more like June Cleaver.

I'm married to a traditional-style man. So, I get to stay home, but I am to keep the house cared for. I am not very good at this. :p

I didn't get to be trained by my grandmothers when I should have been.

Are there traditional women in Australia or are they mostly wild? I know, here, it was hard to find someone the same age as me (my husband and I met when we were 25) with any values. They were all about what clothes everyone wore and what car a guy drove when we met. Very shallow.

Australia is one of the mist bohemian countries in the world everything is liqure, hedonism, and sexual conquest. I don't even know any other Christians whereby live, I have been alone in the lord for over a decade. That's why I am here now.

As for you not being good at answering confronting questions, I knew thats already. That what I am going to fix. I've been rather fickle on the board do I've descided that if I can't show the people here how I do his works with my fists then I will show them my other blessing-insight-just by reading a few honest words from you I can learn all the secret faultlines of your soul. I can use this to hurt people but lucky for you in this case I am going to make you stronger. That is what he wants it would seem so...

Have you ever wondered why things seem so clear to you and yet the actions of others who you love, who know the same truth still manage to shock- maybe even disapoint you?

I wonder, but I think it just has to do with discernment or raising.

Do you think they wonder?
Wonder why I think the way I do?

Honestly? No. I think they just think I'm wrong and end it there. It's been going on since I was a teen.

Why would they make that assumption, I won't tell you right away. You have to guess first

Because I'm newer at it.

Because they think they're right, period.

Um.

Because people want to win and that transfers over to situations where heart comes into play?

Does it bother you that your husband doesn't stand firmly behind your beleifs? That he is not your voice when yours goes unheard?

Might be a vice versa situation there. He's the one that has been fully schooled in Christianity and then I have differing opinions.

Although we have VERY different views, he usually speaks up for me in that situation.
