is there anyone out there wanting to be closer to God through the accurate understanding of his Word like me.
it's amazing to me how one word not characterized correctly in averse can change the complete interpretation of the verse, I enjoy doing word studies in Hebrew and Greek along with the Holy Spirit to guide my way.

Welcome :)

Hermeneutics is not my thing... Although I enjoy the occasional dabble or two... I found that God wants me to 'research' other criteria. :)

I think God wants to make sure we all get it right first, or as close as possible I believe strongly in the holy Bible and the inspired word of God the only thing I doubt is the human ability to make mistakes in translations. We need to remember when the Bible was translated from Greek to English in the King James version there were political pressures then as there is now for the King of England in that time it was Henry VIII to maintain sovereign rule over his people and a simple word like worship which means to serve being translated as prayer so his people would know who to pray to and who to serve.I believe everyone should have a strong relationship and trust with the Holy Spirit for guidance with the understanding of inspired Scripture.you would be amazed at how one word can change your life. Thanks for your post and God bless

Hi Logossunrise, glad to see such someone with such an interest in Biblical Hebrew and Koine Greek, and I hope that God blesses you with a great understanding and insight into the languages, and in the landscape of thought, understanding, metaphor, metonymy, and wider historical framework in which their reading is understood. God bless and welcome :)
