Hey so I've been really stressed out lately trying to figure out where to go from here as far as after college goes. I don't know if what I want to do us right because I don't know what God wants me to go with my life. I know one thing. I want to be a person that people can see wow she's a Christian I wonder what that's like? Our youth pastor at church told us a quote that I think is a great thing for all if us to live by. "Preach the gospel at all times and if necessary use words."

Hey, welcome to the site. I know your feel... I mean that's me half the time. I think sometimes when I get really stressed about how do I become the person God wants me to be that I'm thinking too much. God is going to write out his story in me no matter what job I'm doing. He's going to write out his story in you too. Keep praying about it definitely, but sometimes its best to just go for something you have a great passion for and just whatever it is do your very best at it. Do it like you were doing it for God. If God needs you somewhere else then I'm sure he'll make a way for it. :)

Hi, welcome to ChristianChat.com.

BeautifulStranger2014, No one knows God's detailed plan for your life. But I will toss some ideas your way. You could be anyone, since I do not know anything more than what you write above. So, before I write a list that is not for you, could you share a bit more about yourself?

I mean, are you wanting to be a doctor? Do you love the ocean? Are you determined to one day leave the United States to live somewhere else? Do you want to stay in your state? Are you wanting to work with kids or mostly adults or by yourself?

The above questions are for you to reflect on and then decide what you want to share. I would share concrete thoughts, if I had concrete with which to work. At least you make it very clear you want to honor God wherever you go.

Hello and welcome to CC, delighted to have you here. The best advice I can give you is to get into prayer and seek guidance from God in the area of your life where you have concerns. May the Lord shine his light of direction onto your upcoming endeavors. God Bless.

Welcome to the site.

I know how difficult life decisions can be. I also know how challenging continuing your education can be. The first thing I would say to you is stop stressing. It is difficult to discern God's will when in a state of anxiety. The second thing is pray about it and trust that the Holy Spirit will enlighten your understanding to know the will of God. Thirdly, if you have a mature Christian in your life whom you trust to have your best interests at heart, go to that person for godly counsel regarding your decisions. Fourth, continue to pray and trust. Fifth, know that God wants you to get it. He wants you to have the information that you need to make a quality decision. Hope this helps.

IDEAtor I have though about that alot. And I've narrowed my choices down to two thing i would like to do. I'd like to be a secondary school social studies teacher or youth minister. But then i was looking at some of the staff at my school. And I saw that my football coach does both. He is a great teacher and coach as well as a wonderful christian. He has prayed over me in times of weakness and He holds a christian group for anyone willing to come every week during lunch. Thanks everyone for all your help. I will continue to pray and lat his will work through me in his own perfect timing.
