Welcome olaba. What happend to u is very hurtful on so many levels. Rejection hurts. But Jesus never rejects us. (as you know) but it helps to be encouraged by brothers and sisters in Christ who have not been part of the 'overthrowers'

God is not finished with you and has good things a head. He loves us better than we can comprehend. :D Heb.4:14...let us hold fast our confession of faith in Him.

I believe you need to present your case to the Father. I recently left my job and currently waiting on the Lord because I know this is what I'm supposed to do. I was feeling really down yesterday about the situation but God spoke to my heart. He said "I have to take you back through the wilderness so I can clean off all the extra stuff you have gain and then you will do all that I ask." Get on your knees and trust me if you will be humble before Him. He will guide you to begin on a new path and it will be with a greater understanding of Him. Check out my new ministry at www.greatergloryproject.com. All things work together for good to those that Love God!

Hello olaba,

I am new here also, so nice to meet you! I am very sorry for your pain! Somehow the pain is tripled when it seems to come from the body of Christ! Sadly not everyone that is in the church are true Christ followers including associate pastors.

The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. Philippians 1:17

Your situation reminded me strongly of Paul who also had people trying to take away his role as pastor and cause him trouble. But take heart!

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

and then there is Joseph who was ill treated so many times

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20

Feeling the horrible sting of betrayal puts you in some very good company. You are NOT less than or a wimp or less loved by God because someone treats you maliciously. You are full of the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, a one of a kind ambassador of Christ put here a definitive purpose! (That last bit was for me too!)

Blessed Lord Jesus
Thank You for walking through all You did, not just because You paid my debts but because it is wonderful to serve a Lord who understands the pain this world throws at us. Bless olaba's servant's heart and heal the pain of betrayal. We ask that You lead him in such a way that he will say, you intended to harm me, but God intended it for good. Lord, help us to follow Your example of power and mercy befitting sons and daughters of the King of Kings. In Your Holy Name, amen

Rejoice, olaba! God is going to use this situation to benefit you. Jesus must have felt the same as you since His disciples also betrayed Him. You have already been brought into a deeper understanding of our dear Lord and Savior.
