Hello everyone,

My name is Andrew and I just joined. A little about myself...I am in my thirties, single, recently came down with numerous illnesses, all of these caused by years of heavy drinking and cigarette smoking. I guess I am here to try and meet friends to talk to, find answers, and I am also looking for healing. I feel guilty that I am joining this group and have a new found prayer life after I became sick (about 2 years ago). These last couple years my life has become all about making it through my days with as little pain and problems (dizziness, the list goes on and on) as possible. This makes it difficult for me to try and help anyone else as I am stuck focusing on my own hurdles throughout the days. Is there any chance of my being healed? Why are all these things happening to me?

Hello and welcome to cc. I am so sorry to read about your medical problems. I am happy you have given your life to Christ. You need to give it over to Him completely and trust in whatever He decides to do you for. He is such a good God, you just have to keep your faith strong.

Welcome to the site, Andrew. I'm so sorry all of this is happening to you right now, and I wish I could give you an answer to the why but I really can't, I'm not God. I think there's always a chance for healing though, and I am praying for you and my pm box is always open. I may not always answer right away but usually within the day. I hope this can be a place of support for you.
