Hey, I'm Dan, I'm 20 years old, and am a fairly new christian trying to grow in the faith and live for the lord everyday! I went from a month ago living in alot of sin, and I've made a complete turn around with the help of our lord and savior, Jesus Christ! The lord revealed his glory to me on exactly 12am November 3rd, the EXACT minute of my 20th birthday, and ever since then, I've wanted to live for him! I'm currently a full time college student. And none of my old friends are christians, and I really have no desire to hang out with them anymore, and get caught up in the ways of the devil again! So I'm hoping to meet new friends here, and fellowship, and grow in the faith.

Congratulations for the best decision you have taken and welcome to the best life in this world. I`m Alma, as you can read I`m not a native speaker, I`m Mexican I`anm living in Veracruz a nice Mexico`s state but I`m so happy to read messages like this. Hello & blessings to you Dan 4 the Lord. I praise the Lord for the softening of your heart that lead you to him. I assume that it is best for you to separate yourself from your friends for a time and if you pray for one, the Lord will send you a wonderful friend! I met one of my best christian sisters here is cc & she lives in the same town, comes from the same very small town but is a decade younger than me... its like we have had parellel lives but a decade apart in alot of ways. Anyway I prayed for her and the Lord delivered. I also am not as involved in the lives of my unbelieving friends but I do not separate myself from them. I need to be a beacon of light for them in this dark world. There will come a time when you are strong enough in your faith that you can begin to minister to your friends, but for now if the Lord has placed it upon your heart to have separation then that is best for you. God bless you as you grow. Words of advise... weigh everything you read in the forums prayerfully and test everything against the word of God. Be sure to spend time not only in prayer but knowing God through his word! Amazing Grace and how wonderful is it to have such incredible transformation upon receiving the Lord Jesus.
