I am in need of friends who are desiring to be filled and controlled by the Spirit. I'm tired of being lukewarm - telling God I give him all of me to use how he wants, for him to have his way with my life...just to turn around and spend the whole day thinking only of what I want to do and putting him on the back burner. The Christian friends I have presently speak of God but live for the world, so they don't understand my desire to be perfected into one with my God. Since my friends and I are at totally different places on our life-journeys, they aren't able to encourage me the way that feeds my soul and challenges me to let go and dive deeper into a dependence on God. I hope someone can relate to how I feel.

The first step is to feel that desire and to finally tire of being lukewarm. :)

I totally can relate. Currently, God is reigniting my passion for Him. I think of the Matthew West song and how it says, "I'm sick of tired of a life with no desire, I don't want a flame, I want a fire."

Feel free to email. I'm not on here every day, but I do check in a couple days a week. :)
