Hello, I am saved and have always been a member of an independent Fundamental Baptist Church. As I grow older and am now at the age of 18 I come to realize that the teachings at my church are thin...at best. So I begin to look into things and realized that I am theologically deprived and the sermons are hardly of the bible and mostly an attack on modern day society and is biased not by scripture but the beliefs of man. I am in search of someone who can help me understand the teachings of Calvinism and Arminianism. But it is fair to say I am more curious towards Calvinism because these beliefs are conflicting to me and seem heretical. You see I am not in search of an average joe who has been to church here and there and THINKS they know but rather has spent time studying in the word of God and can help me understand on my journey. thanks.
