Hi Wanderer and welcome. You need wander no more, this is a great place to be but not everyone is agreeable all of the time, it does make for healthy discussion though.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone.

And, yes, BlackPlatypus, last winter was especially horrendous in southern Ontario. We had an ice storm near Christmas that knocked out power for days, followed by bone-cracking cold temperatures that lasted until March.

Ah, I'm so sorry to hear that. That is the trouble with the internet I'm afraid. Or perhaps a trouble of humanity exasperated by the internet. Either way I hope that you find better times in spite of it.
