A professional in the field may be your best bet here or a person or persons in your day to day life. If you're not comfortable with anyone of those (I advise you to get out of the comfort zone here if possible) then their is some wonderful suicidal hotlines around the web.
Lifeline

is just one, its open 24/7 and by googling I am sure you can find others. Best of luck here and know you are in my prayers.

Hello Lomo33, I am Stevenmd

I don't have a clue how to start a conversation with some that says so little about himself. I do know the little you did say = I am in serious pain and need some help. I would like to help. I guess I will start with basics you probably already know.

God wants to live in your heart making you a temple of God. But you have free choice to accept or reject him. God has said he will destroy anyone that destroys his temple. This is why suicide is a sin and why despite your pain you want to live. The destruction God speaks of is Hell and it never ends.

I want to say every person has value including you. I might be wrong but I do believe you are hurting because you have been treated like you are worthless.

I suppose it may help if others on this post could connect to and experience rather than woe is me. It seems most have pick yourself up by your bootstraps attitude. That is an impossible task.

I had friend in high school called Shawn. His father was chief of police, an abusive drunk when off duty and filled with rage that he vented on Shawn. Shawn never heard encouraging words, was often beaten and regardless what he did he could never please his single father. There were 5 of us all from seriously flawed parental raising. I guess misery loves company. But we did take care of each other the best this godless group of kids could. Hank went to prison, Jeff and I were drafted but Jeff was dishonorably discharged and back home before basic training finished. Paul burned down his parents house and I was the lucky one. I can still recall how out of his mind Shawn was because he asked girl out on date and was rejected. He believed his father had ruined for ever being able to have a girlfriend. In the end while I was fulfilling my military obligation Shawn committed suicide by cop. I miss Shawn and when I asked Jeff, after service, how to get in touch with Shawn, I received the news. It hit me hard.

My point speaking about this is to let you know even though I never even considered suicide I do understand both physical and emotional pain in a way most never experience. It is easy for me to understand why people want to end their suffering.
I am willing to listen and try to encourage you.

Since you have told us nothing except I am hurting and need to talk I can't think of anything more to say except God loves you. I care because God commanded Love your neighbor as yourself and according to God's legal definition of Love that means simply consider your neighbors need = to yours. I know you are in deep dark pit because my anger was outward and I used to think of revenge paying back my abusers by killing them. I can tell you suicide and murder are the same sin, the difference is one is venting outward. Suicide is turning that hatred inward. It was not until I had enough faith to cry out to God and he told me "if you want to know me read the bible." Because I read the bible in obedience to what God the Father told me,
NOT BECAUSE OF ANYTHING I LEARNED IN CHURCH, I was raised in church with 12 years of private Christian education, I learned how to deal with my anger and put away my murderous rage. God took perversion, drug abuse and a lot of other deadly sins out of my life and taught me how to consider others people’s needs = to mine and treat them as I would treat myself.

I PROMIS YOU LOMO33 THIS IS INFINANTLY BETTER. As a truck driver many times after driving for 11 hours I got out of my truck and another driver says to me "yours is the happiest face I have seen in months. I just had to come and say hi. Yet inwardly I am thinking and praying how people can respond to me this way. Can't they see the tears on my face because of my broken back from auto wreck or because my wife left to be in the world and I am alone. I DO KNOW WITHOUT DOUBT the world sees me this way because I spent entire day working, listening to bible CD's and worship and praise music singing praising and worshiping. People have even reported there is a glow around you.

I am saying this because I was thinking about what God said to Cain concerning Able; The very first murder in history. Genesis 4
So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? [SUP]7 [/SUP]If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.”
The Holy Bible : New International Version. 1996, c1984 (electronic ed.) (Ge 4:5-7). Grand Rapids: Zondervan.

Lomo33 there is nothing easy about following Jesus But the joy I feel right know because I recall where I was at 42 years ago and how I feel today being concerned about you: my joy is inexpressible.

The Healing of a Boy With an Evil Spiritmm Mark 9
[SUP]14 [/SUP]When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them. [SUP]15 [/SUP]As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]“What are you arguing with them about?” he asked.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. [SUP]18 [/SUP]Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.”
[SUP]19 [/SUP]“O unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”
[SUP]20 [/SUP]So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?”
“From childhood,” he answered. [SUP]22 [/SUP]“It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”
[SUP]23 [/SUP]“ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.”
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
[SUP]25 [/SUP]When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
[SUP]26 [/SUP]The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” [SUP]27 [/SUP]But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.

All it takes is desire to do good and perfect faith has no doubt. If you doubt, you will receive nothing. However if you have doubts pray Lord help me with my unbelief. That is what the father with demon possessed son prayed when Jesus told him "all things are possible for those that believe. the father cried out I do believe Lord, help me with my unbelief.

God bless Lomo33 and have mercy on him.

Hi lomo33, welcome to CC.

I have been through a lot in my life time, and I must say due to some things that I have been through, I too have had suicidal thoughts a few times. I had even pleaded many times for God to please just take me, because of how I was feeling at the time and how drained I was feeling from always trying to be there for others. Even Jesus needed time away from everyone, to re-energize and fill Himself back up in order to be able to give Himself away to others, but it seemed at the time, no one seemed to care about me and my needs, only their own. Which drained me more and more.

I had been physically, mentally, verbally and emotionally abused by my mother and all but the physical from my sister and cousin. There were times I felt I just couldn't take it anymore, and I had finally reached the breaking point.

God was there for me that day and He got me through that moment, just as He always had all of my life. He spoke to me so plain and clear that day, I will never forget it. I vowed to Him I would never come to that point in my life again and never contemplate suicide again.

If you would like to talk, please feel free to private message me. I can go into more details on my story and maybe learn some about yours to help get to know you and your situation better, if you feel comfortable doing so.

Please know you are not alone. Know that there are people out here that truly care.

Most of all....GOD is ALWAYS with you and He loves you so much, more than you will ever know :)

Give all your burdens, worries and cares over to Him, lay them at the foot of the cross, you will be amazed at what He will do for you.

God created you, He has a plan and wants to use you in a mighty way. Allow Him to have that chance. And always remember God loves you very much and we all go through and experience things for a reason. Mainly to help build us and grow us up, as well as be there for others who are facing the same things.

You are not alone. Just remember that.

God bless you brother and know I will be praying for you :)
