Hogs do no not like to stir around much when it is cold.

The best time to hunt hogs is at night but I getting a might long in the tooth to sit out on a freezing night waiting for them.

I hear that! What is your weapon of choice to hunt hogs with?

I usually use a 30/30 since I hunt mostly in thick brush. Some time a 12 gauge at night when I know it is going to be close work.

Question about going off topic...

As an atheist I'm pretty much going to disagree with 99 percent of the posts on Here. If I comment on a post saying I disagree with the statement then I am on topic lol but each time it then ends up being an atheist/theist debate that has totally departed from the original topic.

Am I best saying nothing? Starting a new topic? How can I post on something without it inevitability turning into a 200 page debate about atheism lol

I would suggest you author a topic of your own.............dunno, something like "The Musings of an Atheist." ???

I suspect it could contend for the longest running thread on CC, or, maybe not.

Lol possibly. I could do something like that. It would definitely stop every other topic going off track as it always does.

As long as you are respectful of the opinions of believers, which you usually are, I think it would be the best way. I MIGH even join in.......dunno, depends on the subject matter you select to discuss.......

Yeah I deliberately avoid certain posts, Like the odd one or two if a Christian says they doubt their faith. That would be disrepectful to all of you if I muscled in on those ones. But there are other posts I really want to say something and sometimes I do.. But it always ends up the same way lol.

I like you being here and I miss Cycel....too bad he is gone.....I know when I was being attacked by the Christians when I first joined the site I found friendship in the Atheist thread and made a few friends. Sometimes you guys show acceptance and tolerance better than we do....sad really but I found a safe place and rested for a while in that thread.....

Lets be real here cat...you know when you come to a Christian site, that your going to get the Christian perspective and folks are going to reject your view ...right? If you go to KFC they are going to be serving chicken, you cant really be upset they are serving chicken, can you? Who is wrong KFC or the person demanding a big mac?
