To me, conspiracy theorists are like fat people, or gluttons. You see them near the donuts or in the ice cream isle at the grocery store or standing in line at the local Chinese buffet. Why? Because they are addicted to eating too much. Conspiracy theorists are also addicted. They have several conspiracy sites on their list of favorite web sites, and they go there every day to discover the latest conspiracy theory. It's not so important that they are coached by an expert or if the conspiracy has been debunked thoroughly, that doesn't matter. The thought of reading about it and telling others about it is like a big jelly donut to an obese glutton. Is it important or beneficial for rational people to tell a 400 pound person that he / she is eating way too much food? They already know they are fat. They can't fit in their car or tie their shoes. I'm guessing conspiracy nuts know they are hooked and addicted to all of this nonsense. I think the moderator knew this when he sequestered them on this particular forum, where they would be the least distraction to others. I'll just point out that you won't be taken seriously in other forums when it is discovered you post here and embrace conspiracy theories. I wish there was a Jenny Craig for conspiracy theorists, so we could toss you a life line. Life is short. There is still time to enjoy it. You can delete those web sites and start fresh. There will be people who will help you get through it.

You know in a lot of these cases, if not all of them, the government indeed did suppress information, at least for a time. 9/11 is a pretty good example. If 28 pages about 9/11 are still censored to this day then the government is literally suppressing information.

Referring to your crack about fat people, there are a variety of reasons why people are fat. It does NOT always come from over-eating. It can be caused by medication, heredity, thyroid or immune imbalances. So to say fat people are fat because they eat too much is totally erroneous..

Regardless of your intention your remark about over weight people is the exact kind of thinking I cannot tolerate. When people see an over weight they assume it's because they eat to much or don't eat healthy but there are countless of medical conditions and medicines that cause over weight and in many peoples genes they gain weight a lot easier than average people even with how careful they are to eat healthy.

As for your remark on conspiracy theorists you are wrong about this as well, to the world and to a doubting generation many of the truths revealed from deep research and much comparing to the bible is seen as a crazy conspiracy and the mind of the paranoia but that is exactly what the devil is counting on. Why do you think Christians are going to be seen as terrorists?

Conspiracy theories are similar to Urban Myths. They cant be proved either way, beyond reasonable doubt so seeking the 'truth' behind any of them is a waste of time.

If I'm the head of Homeland Security and I am asked to write a report on the weaknesses in our security that allowed a terrorist attack, I would hope that most of the details are not released to the public. When we found and killed Bin Laden, was it wise to tell all other terrorists exactly how we did it, even make a movie about it and release top secret information to a Hollywood director? It's not a conspiracy to protect the American people. These nuts always thing they are truth seekers. They are kooks. People on this site actually think a missile hit the pentagon and that demolition crews blew up buildings in the WTC.

Again, redacted information vital to national security does not equate to a conspiracy. Please don't feed these people any fuel for their fantasies.

I can't tolerate people who say they are intolerant, like you. Just kidding. The reasons for obesity are not countless. there are very few reasons. 99% of obese people are obese for a very simple reason. During the course of each day, they burn off a certain number of calories. During that same day, they take in a certain number of calories. When one of those is bigger than the other, you either lose weight or you gain weight. If you gain weight and do not take action to reduce caloric intake or to increase the number of calories you burn each day, you will eventually become obese, then morbidly obese, then super morbidly obese, and I think the CDC had to add an additional category called super super obese.

My oldest sister is 5'2" tall. She weighs maybe 300 pounds. I do not know the exact reason she got so big. My parents divorce may have caused her to become withdrawn. She spend decades living alone, reading Nancy Drew books and over-eating. She never exercised. Consequently, she grew larger. She is also the nicest person I have ever known. She tried dieting and tried exercise but gave up. She never discussed gastric bypass surgery and may figure that she will wind down the clock living alone and over-eating, while trying not to be a burden to others. It's sad. I love her. I wish she had a more fulfilling life and that she could have had at least one date when she was younger.

Yes, there are many reasons why people overeat. But they have to take responsibility for the simple fact they are putting to many calories into their mouths and not burning enough calories to prevent weight gain. It's not all that complex. Please tell me you don't believe in some sort of conspiracy against fat people and that they are victims. That's just what our world is becoming. People who all see themselves as victims and are not to blame for bad decisions they make.

You are sooo ignorant on this subject of what makes people fat.. it's NOT caused simply by over-eating.. Heredity, meds, thyroid and immune imbalances, etc, can all be contributing factors also..

Sure I understand that. The only thing is the classified 28 pages are not about such weaknesses in security. Many very official sources, Senators, CIA agents, and so forth have made clear those 28 pages are about details of involvement of Saudi Arabia. So the logical question is; why are our politicians purposefully shielding Saudi Arabia, a foreign government and perhaps the most evil regime currently existent on earth?

If they will not reveal the 28 pages then it is more than fair for people to theorize. My theory is certain factions of our government are sympathetic to islam and/or the House of Saud. It is public knowledge that the Bush family is friends with the House of Saud and it is well known that Obama is a secularist islamic sympathizer.

There is a difference between 'Conspiracy Theory' and 'Conspiracy Fact' -- which can be proven - in the mind of anyone who is willing to utilize their God-given senses ( 'Awareness + Open Eyes + Common Sense + Discernment' ) to see through the immense cloud of misinformation that Satan has managed to capture and enslave the whole world with...

On the other hand, I believe things are almost always as they appear. In my experience, this is true 99% of the time.

O.J. Simpson appeared quite guilty, and he was. Bill Cosby seems utterly guilty, and he will be proven utterly guilty. Michael Jackson was clearly a pedophile. Planes flown into buildings seems to explain why those buildings collapsed. People who become addicted to heroin or meth look like drug addicts and almost always make even more bad decisions that ruin their lives and leave them homeless. It appeared that Oswald acted alone and fired three shots at President Kennedy. It appears American voters are mad at the status quo and are supporting Trump and Sanders to voice that anger. It appears our country has a lot of debt, a lack of leadership, a lack of cooperation amongst political parties, underachieving students, a lot of gun violence, a epidemic of heroin addiction and an epidemic of obesity. I could go on for page after page. These things appear to be true and they are true. 99% of the time, in my experience.

The CDC has been tracking obesity since the early 80's. The graph is a line moving upward at about a 45 degree angle. It's a problem that didn't exist throughout most of our countries history and it is rare in most other countries. I've read studies of Indian tribes near our southern border, in Arizona, with almost total obesity, and massive levels of diabetes. Yet those same Indians, living south of the border, have no obesity. They also don't have potato chips for breakfast and fried chicken for dinner in double size portions.

Every single member of my family is obese, except me. Is that heredity that I am defying? Nope. I choose to exercise a lot. I eat the same portions as my sisters, but I don't get fat. They are sedentary. They are fat. I could give you a list of contributing factors like television, lack of time to cook healthy meals that mean a trip to fast food restaurants, increased stress that is more common today, laziness, living your life to serve your children and not taking care of yourself, the availability of amazing tasting foods of all varieties, success in life that makes eating out affordable, being a child of an obese parent who over feeds you, etc. But it all comes down to too many calories taken in. The 1% of obese people who have thyroid issues or immune imbalances (seriously?), can still eat less and stay thin. They cannot eat less calories than they burn and gain weight.

Somewhere, there is a study that shows that people who spend all their time on internet forums are ten times more likely to be obese and sedentary. It makes sense. So to even mention obesity in this environment will likely set off people who are obese and feel defensive about accusations they are not eating responsibly. I get that. If everyone who posts here admitted their true height and weight, it would be at least the current level of the rest of the country, or over 30%. I wouldn't be shocked if it was over 50% of the people here. Care to share your weight? I'm 6'3" and 186 pounds. I am working towards a goal of 178 pounds, about what I weighed when I ran track in high school. Oddly, I have a eating disorder and have gluttonous tendencies. I love ice cream and can't wait until Blue Bell is back on the shelves. I often eat double desserts. Earlier this week I ate over 34 pieces of sushi at a single sitting. My record is 48 pieces. On the other hand, I just rode my mountain bike over 45 miles in 5 hours. With all of my medical problems and dozens of injuries and many surgeries, I still exercise almost daily. It's something you might consider vs. spending six hours a day posting on this forum. Typing on a keyboard burns about 102 calories an hour assuming a body weight of 150 pounds. I burn about 600 calories an hour biking and 850 calories an hour running. For every hour you type messages here, it only takes half a soda to put you in the hole and cause you to gain more weight. Add a cookie and some chips and you will be out shopping for larger size clothes in no time.

this is how the eyes of the world sees, the eys of the world see the outer appearance of things and believe them to be what they are but the thing is both God and satan are well known for hiding things past the obvious. When you see a person based on the clothes they wear on the color of the teeth on the health of their skin the way they talk and act one can basically rationalize what kind of person they are the kind of things they do but inside the person may be completely different than what their outer appearance shows.

Me personally knowing that things are almost never as they appear I am only interested in the heart of a person not their appearance or the words they speak. no matter who they are now what they have done what they say I want to see and know what it is God sees in them why he would go so far for such a truly dark and cold heart, and I want to see who they can become in him. we humans more than anyone and anything fit the phrase nothing is hardly ever as it appears

I'm not sure what you are saying. It seems that you are suggesting that fat people can be skinny people on the inside. I completely agree that God saves fat people and skinny people and people who smoke or use drugs. God save homosexuals. Some people then go on to overcome their sinful lifestyle. Some do not. Some return to drugs or homosexual behavior or being gluttons.

But it makes no sense to deny that a person who weighs 350 pounds is fat, really fat. They appear fat because they are fat. Appearances are exactly what they seem to be. Sure, you can and should love them, but you can love them while hating the sin of gluttony they are caught up in.

Well I have a GOOD example of something that isn't as is seems MUCH of the time. When someone comes along like they have all the answers and has EVERYTHING figured out to the point they seem to try to flaunt it, they usually don't. No matter how hard they try to convince everyone else and themselves that they "know it all", it's been my experience in life they are among the most blinded to the truths around them. Of course this isn't a blanket truth, nor am I saying it applies in every case, but if you already know it all then you don't tend to listen with a learning ear. Just my take on the subject.

You are only looking through the fleshly eyes which is why you do not understand what I am saying. our fleshly eyes see over weight people because our eyes only see the outer appearance but God sees something entirely different. now matter what a person weighs or looks like I see something else I am blind to their physical appearance because I know that they are beautiful and precious and deeply loved and cared for by God and thus I only see what he does. God could care less about physical appearances he is only interested in the heart, and again you assume that most people are over weight because of gluttony.

Until you learn to see through God's eyes you will only see fat people when you look at an over weight person and you can ay you love them but hate the sin of gluttony but it isn't the sin of gluttony you hate
