I thought I would (if you'll pardon the expression) resurrect an old Good Friday thread rather than make a new one.
It would be interesting to learn how Christians from various regions observe it, if at all.

Yes Lucy-Pevensie, people go to Church but due to virus and its restrictions here people are praying at homes, and the 7 sayings of the Lord on the cross, is preached

I was listening to a 7 last sayings observance this morning.
It's amazing how much The Lord was still ministering to others even from the position of extreme agony he was in.

One year on Halloween I ran a search for every thread I could find with "Halloween" in the name, and dug them up as zombie threads as a meta joke.

It would be interesting to learn how Christians from various regions observe it, if at all.

Not this year. Covid has really been cramping our style lately.

In Easter seasons past all the churches in our town would get together the week before Easter for community services Monday through Friday at noon. They called them Holy Week services. All the pastors of the churches would take turns preaching. (I don't know if they drew straws or what...)
