SHOCK REPORT: 46% OF YOUNG AMERICANS BELIEVE U.S.
IS MORE “RACIST” THAN OTHER NATIONS

First annual FLAG/YouGov State of American Patriotism report details alarming
anti-Americanism and ignorance of basic civics, especially among Millennials & Gen Z

Here is what these younger Americans think of their country:

46 percent disagree that “America is the greatest country in the world.”
38 percent disagree that “America has a history that we should be proud of.”
28 percent are not proud to be American.
14 percent agree that “America was never a great country, and it never will be.”
What is informing these notions of America being unexceptional?

Here are a few more beliefs exposed by this survey:

50 percent of younger Americans believe the United States is sexist.
49 percent believe the United States is racist.
46 percent say “America is more racist than other countries.”
19 percent of Millennials believe the American flag is “a sign of intolerance and hatred.”


84 percent of Americans do not know the specific rights enumerated in the First Amendment.
Younger Americans are half as likely as older Americans to know which presidents are on
Mount Rushmore.

44 percent of younger Americans believe Barack Obama had a “bigger impact”
on America than George Washington.

Stunning ignorance! And their appalling ignorance and lack of proper pride doesn’t just
affect them. Because 47 percent of them are so embarrassed by what little they under-
stand of the free market that they believe America’s future should be socialism.

And these are America’s new voters, teachers and politicians.
What happens when a nation has such a toxic view of itself?

When the U.S. had pride in its power, it flourished! Once that pride was broken because
of our sin, our power was rendered useless. Power without pride in that power is the same
as having no power—except it is more tragic.

Violent Video Games Trigger Physical Aggression

Study concluded that “violent video game play is positively associated with aggressive
behavior, aggressive cognition, and aggressive affect, as well as negatively
associated with empathy for victims of violence and with prosocial behavior.”

Hull and colleagues pooled data from 24 studies that had been selected to avoid
some of the criticisms leveled at earlier work. They only included research that
measured the relationship between violent video game use and overt physical
aggression. They also limited their analysis to studies that statistically controlled
for several factors that could influence the relationship between gaming and
subsequent behavior, such as age and baseline aggressive behavior.

Even with these constraints, their analysis found kids who played violent video
games did become more aggressive over time. The study covered 17,000 people
between ages 9 and 19 over a period of three months to four years.

Their findings mesh with a 2015 literature review conducted by the American
Psychological Association, which concluded violent video games worsen
aggressive behavior in older children, adolescents and young adults.

In other words, when kids play violent games it can make them more aggressive
and desensitize them to the fear and pain of others. There are those who argue
the relevance of these findings, and the controversy will undoubtedly rage on,
with each side producing studies that support its bias.

But while scientists may argue over the minutiae and relevance of the data,
the Bible spoke definitively on the subject millennia ago.

Proverbs 23:7 states, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

If young people consume a steady diet of violent games and other
violent forms of entertainment, they will become more violent.

Entertaining ourselves with the real or imagined suffering of others is in direct
opposition to Philippians 4:8, which admonishes us to dwell on those things that
are just, pure, lovely and of good report, and Philippians 2:5, which commands
that we allow the mind of Christ to dwell in us.

When we consider these verses and the scourge of mass shootings that have
plagued America, it becomes evident that something is wrong. And violent
video games are both an outgrowth and a source of this problem.

We are told in Revelation 12:9-12 that Satan is filled with wrath and that he
has been cast to this Earth for the final days of this end time. Ephesians 2:2
Satan is the ‘prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in
the children of disobedience.’

Satan is broadcasting attitudes of bitter, burning anger and murder right into
the minds of mankind and is filling our society with lawlessness and rage.

Some of Satan’s greatest tools for spreading his vile wrath are found
right in our homes, and that is the influence from television, movies,
music, video games and the Internet.”

A spiritual problem demands a spiritual solution. James 4:7 instructs us
on how to resist Satan’s influence. “Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

We resist the devil by clinging to God and His Word, by filling our minds
not with violent content from video games, but with the truth of God.

More U.S. Births are Occurring Out of Wedlock

As marriage rates have fallen, the number of U.S. adults in cohabiting relationships
has continued to climb, reaching about 18 million in 2016. This is up 29% since 2007,
when 14 million adults were cohabiting, according to U.S. Census Bureau data............"

Signaling a cultural shift, a United Nations report found 40 percent of all births in the
U.S. now come from parents who are not married, compared to just 10 percent in 1970.

The quadrupling of out-of-wedlock births within a couple of generations is a major
societal shift. With millions of babies being born to unmarried couples and single
mothers, the need for marriage itself is being questioned.

Is this just the normal progression of our modern culture?

The U.S. Census Bureau released a report detailing figures
that perhaps contribute to the rise of out-of-wedlock births:

From 1950 to 2017, the percentage of women who married fell from over 65 to
just over 50. Throughout the same span of time, the percentage of women who
never married rose from 20 to about 30. In the late 1990s, the percentage of
women who were divorced overtook the percentage of women who were widowed.

This plummet in the percentage of couples marrying has not corresponded to a drop in
couples engaging in sexual activity or living together outside of marriage.

From 2007 to 2016, the number of cohabiting adults in the U.S. rose from 14 million to
18 million. More than half of cohabiting couples today (8.9 million) are 34 years old
and younger.

Of course, not all children born out of wedlock are born to cohabiting couples.

Out of the nearly 12 million single parents in the U.S. in 2017, about 81.4 percent were
single mothers. That means nearly 10 million families, many with multiple children,
do not have a father in the home!

This is the result of the “New Morality,” caused by a shift in government and
economics, education and religion, and especially the relaxation of morals.

We are now at the point where 40 percent of all live births in the United States happen
outside of marriage. And that is not even counting the hundreds of thousands of abortions
that occur every year, most of which are the consequence of sex outside of marriage!

The conditions surrounding Rome’s fall sound eerily similar
to the conditions prevalent in the United States today.

reducing self-harm, under the subtitle “What if you don’t want to stop self-harming?”,
makes suggestions for how to continue harming yourself in less drastic ways.

This is a shockingly stark example of authorities dealing—barely—with the effect
and not knowing the true cause or how to stop it.

The cause for rising self-harm and suicide statistics traces straight back to the
breakdown in family and the breakdown in fatherhood in particular.

Fatherlessness has a devastating impact on both males and females, but it has a
particular and often ignored effect on girls. In a society where present fathers are
a rare commodity, few acknowledge the correlation between their absence and
the rise in self-harm among girls.

“Fatherlessness is the greatest social problem in North America according to
72.2 percent of the U.S. population,” the National Center for Fathering reported.

The U.S. Census Bureau reported that approximately 24.7 million U.S.
children live without their biological father.

One Third of Generation Z Not Heterosexual

Generation Z (those born after 1996) now holds the record for the lowest percentage
claiming to be heterosexual. Ipsos mori’s study found that in the United Kingdom 71
percent of millennials, 85 percent of Generation X, and 88 percent of baby boomers
claimed to be exclusively heterosexual.

These numbers reveal a dramatic shift toward social liberalism and Generation Z’s
ability to change the “social norm.” Standards are changing a lot more quickly and
are more readily accepted thanks to social media and advances in technology.

Instead of viewing homosexuality as a sin, the majority in the U.S. and Britain now
consider homosexuality a right. Some go even further and assert that it is the traditional
family that is harmful—that its very structure is a type of slavery of women and children.

Rather than accepting the notion that society is falling short of the biblical standard,
society has changed the standard. The virtually unanimous failure to follow the scriptural
formula for family success has resulted in a redefinition of marriage and family.

Society is deeply divided between those who believe this shift is a good change and those
who think it is evil. But there’s no arguing the fact that a monumental shift has occurred
in Western society.

Is there danger in such a radical change in family over the course of just one generation?
Or is “live and let live” the best way to go—accepting the lifestyle choices of others,
regardless of what those choices are?

A world devoid of black and white, where everything is a gradient of grays, and we are

The liberal left is comically self-contradictory.

They say, somehow simultaneously, that women are entitled to freedom from sexual harassment
—and that pornography is healthy. And that the Bible’s prohibitions against lust, rape, fornication

rape women is Islamophobic.

And that all men are rapists and potential rapists and should not be trusted—and if he denies an
accusation of sexual misconduct he is a liar, without question. And that if a biological male says
he realizes he is really a woman, then he is telling his truth and must be believed, without question
—and should then be allowed to participate in women’s sports and to access women’s locker rooms
and bathrooms.

And that gender is a social construct and biology has no bearing on whether we are “male” or “female”
—and that women are inherently better leaders than men and the country would be better off if we had
more women in power.

Administration investigation. Despite FDA concerns, abortion advocates in the U.S.
support the company and the abortion pill mail-order concept.

According to their website, Aid Access claims it is a “private initiative by a committed
team of medical doctors and long term abortion rights activists....

The aim of the website and service is to create social justice and improve the health
status and human rights of women who cannot access locally available abortion services.
