There are guys who are just friendly in getting to know multiple potential girlfriends. But there are those who are flirts, who will stir a woman's heart and make women fall for them and then ghost them. I prefer the friendly guy. He is more of a gentleman with integrity. I will not be hurt if he is not the one since everyone has a freedom of choice. So where is that line, there is no line. Men should do their best because fishing is a serious matter. They should do their best not to hurt the fragile hearts of women.
I agree, there are sensitive men out there too as well. I personally just like to be friendly to all and not flirt (I’ll save that for my future wife). It takes time to get to know people.

Yes there are also sensitive men but they should not be easily discouraged when rejected because everyone is free to choose who will they give their heart to. Maybe I am just old fashioned but I believe that men should do the fishing, I mean pursuing.

Of course if he or she says no that means God has someone else for you. I agree, the man should pursue, it’s important for her to know that he really wants her and no one else.

I am always weary of a guy who has many female friends. To me if feels like he has put the bait out and is seeing which fish is going to bite. Goes for the gals to who have many male friends. I think it makes them feel like they will have a guarantee return if they put the bait out to a few.
Makes you feel like you are a contestant on Bachelor/Bachelorette vying for their attention whilst they get to date and choose the person of their choice. If you were to go on that show (I don't know why you would) then at least you know that there is others involved but if you have no clue that the person that you are friends?? with also has other friends, I just think that is wrong.

1 Samuel 16:7 New International Version (NIV)
7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

I know. I was just goofing around. The mood is quite serious. It might not be true for everyone but I believe that men are mostly visual and women are emotional. Men fall in love through their eyes while women through their feelings.

I would just assume they are talking to many people if you are not in a relationship. I think it’s important to get to know many people to formulate what you want and what you don’t want. God brings people in our lives for a reason. Maybe it’s to help them out with a difficult situation or visa versa. Maybe that’s all God wants from you with that person and He has someone else in mind for you.

I had two impressions of men who have many women friends. It either they are gay or womaniser. But now I am trying to be less judgemental. Besides first impression lasts but its the last impression that counts and you have to get to know people more for that.

If they have been friends for years and have this brother/sister relationship I wouldn't want to get in the way and ruin their friendship.
I think most people know the characteristics or the type of person they are looking for so I feel that some are friends with many to test each one to see who they like the best or who they have the most chemistry with. To me it is a red flag. It makes you feel used.

Women are definitely visual... they just don’t talk about it as much and express emotions and feelings more. There usually is some physical chemistry from both parties.

Yeah I tend to feel that they are a womaniser too. It is important not to judge but it is also important to be cautious. I guess the best thing to do is to take it to God and ask his opinion. I remember doing this once with a person i met a while back. They were nice and charming but one day as I was talking to him I saw like this little sneaky gremlin looking thing in his eyes. It just flashed in my mind and I believe God was revealing to me the condition of his heart. That he was not to be trusted. I broke off my friendship with him only to find out months later he was dating a few different girls, yet saying all the right things. He indeed was sneaky and not to be trusted and God saved me from a lot of heartache. Thankyou God for that

I think if the friendship turns into a dating in person phase there needs to be open communication about that to any other people you go on a date with. It’s also good to be open and honest before you take them out. Deceit usually gets you booted lol

You have a point. For me, I can be attracted to the personality but I will also need to see the physical side. Even if he is good looking but is a jerk, attraction will go down the drain.
