Can a believer get involved with politics? (Part 5).

Continuing to answer the questions.

Someone can say: “but the politics is in our hands. If we chose good politicians, instead of corrupt police, we will have honest and just policemen and judges that makes justice, punishing the criminals and exalting the good”.

Would that this was truth! Unfortunately, the countries aren’t independents. It suffices to pay attention to this pandemic: everything that the World Health Organization dictates, all the politicians are obliged to fulfill, regardless if this is good or bad for the nation and its citizenships.

All the politicians are financed by the “international bankers”. Don’t mind the puppets that we “chose” (if it is that we really chose something), they will be obliged to obey their orders (under threat of death, renounce or impeachment, accompanied by scandals, if they take down their determinations).

Whether we like or not, the government is in the hands of Ha-Satan (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11; 1John 5:19). Only in the millennium (after the second coming of Jesus) we will have a righteous government.

This doesn’t mean that we have to hate the police, judges and politicians. On the contrary: we need to pray for them (1Tim 2:1,2) and abide by what Jesus enjoined us:

• Mat 10:16 -> “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.”.

Of course, amidst so much injustice, cruelty, corruption, etc., most of the people will despair, mope, lose all the reason to live:

• Luk 21:25,26 -> “ “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”.

Certainly, we need of bold spiritual warriors bold to save themselves from this perverse generation (Acts 2:40), shun the flesh desires (1Peter 2:11; 4:2,3) and embrace of the weapons of the Holy Spirit to make manifest all His truth (1Tim 3:15), *always as inoffensive doves and lambs*. After all, the war and vengeance belongs to the Creator (Ps 94:1; 1Sam 17:47; Rom 12:19-21; Hebrews 10:30), as well as judgment (Rom 14:10; 2Cor 5:10).

So, have a good day seeking to help people to find their true citizenship:

• Php 3:20,21 -> “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”.
• Gal 4:26 -> “But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.”.

Tomorrow we will carry on answering the questions.
