After reading you find He does not need anyone or anything. All of this He can do with out us He chooses to use us praise God. Like one said God could have just tossed all this out and started over..He is God. PRAISE GOD.

As for "But do you think it a sin and/or is scripturally incorrect to call for, require, even demand or command God to do the things you say out loud, in Jesus' name, and expect God to do it? "

Easy answer its not a "sin" nor is it incorrect. I debate to say any more wise to always look where your casting. Hmm the only time I've ever heard God say "NO" was there as this girl I really liked AOG Church. I remember in the car kissing her and I saw this HUGE "NO". Nothing was going on or going to as in human nature haha. See I found out as many say Gods will is His word. See if GOD SAID it I never have to ask for it I expect it to always happen for He can not lie. The promises of God do we need to pray and ask for them? As its written And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

People are free to twist that any way they want. For me "whatever" simple means "that goes in line" with His word. Again its written we have not because we ask not or we are asking wrong or just personal things like " I don't need it but I want a new car, ooh a new wife HELLO! haha just playing".

There is catch also "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord"

Its says we are saved by grace through faith. Its also written we walk by faith not sight. Its also written we live by faith. Its written with out faith we can never please Him yet FAITH its never talked about. We were all given the measure of faith yet we have to work our faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Sorry its far more then just "reading" poof there's faith.

In this fallen world we do not understand "its all free". No you have to work you have to sacrifice.. you have to take on and on. Nothing as we know is free. We know the saying if its to good to be true its not good. This is not how it is in heaven. We have to get over the fact we have nothing to give to this KING of KINGS LORD OF LORDS but our lifes. We have nothing to offer Him yet He gives and gives and keeps giving till it over flows runs in to all around us. ALWAYS about others.

As I have learned He always expects me to ask. For me since I am awful with words and spelling its what He will use. Words I never heard of before I have to go lookup what it means. Like school which I never liked yet with Him ooh is fun .. always learning. He told us what ever you desire when you pray believe (hello faith) you receive it (you can't see it hear it feel it) and you shall have it.

OT delight your selfs in the lord He will give you the desires of your heart. Keep reading for there is a catch "Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. " Whats another word for "TRUST"? Faith.

Sorry I think I went to far.. might have casted not looking. Let it rest. Its not what I say.. I understand faith and works. Since I am no speaker I don't know how to give it away. Did you know people can see someone blind I mean blind then see for the 1st time and that does nothing. Just to take another breath. Father forgive me for not being thankful in the most hmm tiniest of things.

I am not one for TV ever.. but I started to watch House? That old doctor show? To watch that every time it hurts. There are so many that have no hope other then that doctor will have the answer. Did you know you just can't go into hospitals only to visit to help? Yeah "unless you are this and that we can not let you in". I understand but praise God

I think she was upset because the guy she was responding to wrote "Just like the devil, God needs man to do certain things in the Earth."

It's clear she loves God and the guy just equated Him to Satan. Wouldn't you be upset too?

I'm surprised you rebuked her and not HIM.

I'm not blaming anyone. I'm not qualified. Only God is qualified. I just told her she needed to calm down.

Wow, you are so close in one point and yet so wrong in the other.
Faith is actually not believing, which is a verb, but is the person, place, thing, and/or situation or circumstance, which is a noun.
Faith IS the very thing you envision.
Paul said it is the substance or material of the thing you envision.
Where Faith doesn't require any action to have, believing does.
However, without believing, the substance or material will lie dormant and dead, as faith requires believing for it to manifest in the natural.
And the kind of believing God teaches in his word, requires some type of corresponding physical act to said belief.
You cannot, " just believe", and have your faith manifest in the natural, as nothing will happen.
And another thing concerning God's kind of believing, is to Believe it is, you have it now, or it is done or has already happened when you prayed or spoke, which means, BEFORE you see it, feel it, hear it, taste it, experience it, or manifests in the natural.
That's not an easy thing to do for an adult.
And all this hinges on believing God will perform his word or do what he said he will do in His word.
So if I bind the strong man and command the thing to come out in the name of Jesus, since it is not me doing the actual work to drive the thing out, but God doing it through his word, which is our power, strength, and ability, God gets the glory.
Now the reason why I say it is okay to tell God what to do, is because I am the one directing and sending his word, or the word of faith, which is the spoken word of God, to do what I commanded it to do.
So I'm not actually telling or demanding God Himself do this for me, as I'm not actually speaking to God, but I am more directing his hand by saying what I want done in faith.
And so to my second point, you still have to have faith in the words you just formed and spoke.
Without faith in your own words, they're just empty, idle, inactive, and dead words.
Without God acting on our word, they are, as I said, just inactive, empty, idle, and dead.
All you have done is play semantics. I've goofed around and attempted to employ humor but you have a poor understanding of faith. I think part of the reason is because you make yourself the object of glory rather than God.
Faith is a vehicle to bring God glory. In salvation grace is extended to believers through the operation of faith. Faith doesn't cause salvation or grace, it is merely the conduit by which they come. Likewise, faith is the conduit by which God brings blessing. Your faith in something doesn't produce the blessing, it is merely the vehicle by which God provides it.
So where does faith come from? It comes by hearing the word of God. Thus, the impetus for faith is what God says. If what God says comes to a person by faith, what God says will come to pass.
Nowhere in the equation is a person speaking their words to produce faith. Hence, faith is not believing our words will come to pass. It is believing what God has said will come to pass.
An example, Abraham believed God would fulfill His promise that his seed would be a great multitude. He may not have known how exactly, but he believed enough to be willing to sacrifice Isaac.

Order of events:
God said.
Abraham believed.
Abraham acted.

Not the order of events:
Abraham believed.
Abraham demanded.
God acted.

I don't usually write such long posts. I leave that to my buddy Pilgrimshope. He has quite the penchant for it. But it is worth going into why God does it this way, if you are interested.

Why just her? He said some things that are unscriptural?
I believe that both relatively rational and somewhat hypersensitive individuals need to maintain a calm and rational attitude during communication to avoid being influenced by emotions and biases. Hypersensitive individuals may be more easily stimulated by external stimuli, and may need more time and space to relieve their emotions. In communication, we should respect everyone's feelings and needs, avoid verbal attacks and belittling, to establish an understanding and mutually respectful communication atmosphere.

Haha chatGTP is great!

She was right though. He really did need to check himself.

He was boasting that he can demand things of God and then he spouted unscriptural definitions of faith among other things.

You didn't address him at all, but rebuked her instead (who really did nothing wrong in what she wrote). So I thought that was quite strange and misdirected.

Just something to think about.

I didn't say she was wrong, I explained that she needs to calm down. Perhaps the words used were inappropriate"just like the devil wants ppl to do something bad, God wants ppl to do something good for him", but the kingdom of God is one in peace, so staying calm is the best approach.

I have been reading this post for a while now, and I still feel that what he said is the same as what you guys said. I feel like maybe my English was too hasty.

You said she has a rebellious heart. It connotes that she was somehow wrong. I saw no rebellion in her, but in HIM.

You want her to stay calm, but he talks down to her and to all the others who replied to him. Why not tell him to calm down instead? Why not tell him he has a rebellious heart instead? It's just so strange to tell her that instead of him. Are you afraid of him?

I think you calmed down, and naturally he calmed down too.

To be clear you don’t tell God what to do in any way your supposed to hear what he says to do and do that, and he promises to bless you
Which is what I have been doing.
Mark 11:23, just doing it, like it's written.

I've been calm this whole time. :)

I guess your English is a little hard for me to understand. And that's okay! I can't even speak or write Chinese, but I wish I can.

I didn't get the sense that he was talking about mountain to be flung into the sea.
I don't think we need to do that either. I think it's meant to tell us to rely on God when we're in big trouble which we couldn't handle it.
What Jesus was trying to teach Peter and the rest of His disciples, is how He kill the fig tree. And He gets into the specifics in verse 23.

I'm not used to English grammar. If we want to use the past tense, we just need to add one word.

Asking is not telling!
You haven't read or atleast understood what I have been saying. I am to speaking to God when I say I am telling Him what to do. I am speaking to the objects or situation, using His word/promises, and because Jesus is the word of God, I am both directing and sending the word of God to do certain things, thereby basically telling God what to do.
So I'm not really telling God what to do, I'm just directing His hand or power by speaking to an object, thing, or situation, in His name.
