I will say this: many so-called Christians need to stop viewing Trump as their "savior". It's one thing to support him on a political level, but to look to him to save our country (and the world at large) from its fundamental problems is absurd.

Christ Jesus is our only Savior and as God, he has put Joe Biden in the Oval Office right now for His reasons. We may not like it, but make no mistake, it is God who put him there (cf. Romans 13).

I'm looking at you, NAR and WoF types (and all of your failed "prophecies" about Trump winning re-election, being reinstated/reinstalled and whatnot).
Trump's followers will keep following him no matter what and the reason is simple: It's about a lot more than Trump; it's about Christian nationalism and making the US a Christian theocracy. Trump is seen as their best hope at the moment; but if and when Trump goes away they'll find a new savior to help them accomplish their goal.

It's about maintaining our rights, freedoms and national sovereignty. If you prefer instead to see the United States transformed into a Godless, borderless, marxist, socialist, disarmed, Sodom and Gomorrah America under Satan, then keep voting Democrat!

Absolutely ridiculous assertion.

There's 340 million people here, so the odds are great that you'd find a couple yokels who might think this way.

But your remark is akin to saying all Christians are like the Westboro Baptists.

If a person were able to look Into Donald Trumps heart and see his true Intentions and It showed that he really only cares about himself and not about making America great again, would you still vote for him?

Please don't deflect with your answer but read the question and answer the question FIRST then add deflection secondly If you want to.

The USA is based upon ALL people having rights. You only want to keep the rights you agree with. And yes some people want unGodly rights. The question is, do you want a constitutional republic, or a Christian theocracy? One supports the ideals of this country, the other doesn't

I think Niki7's laughter pretty much answers that question.

I would posit more and more Christians act like Westboro these days.

Or...more people are revealing they do not have the love of God in them and aren't actually Christians.
Just because someone associates themselves with God doesn't mean they are truly God's people. Pharisees have always been with us.

I don't vote because I am not an American citizen. I was laughing at the phraseology of the 'question'.

Yeah and that baloney was debunked a long time ago or they'd still be using it. He'd done that movement for a dozen other people that had no disability, he wasn't making fun of the disability. Dems had to shut up over that one. Don't open this can of worms or we'll have to start quoting Biden and you don't wanna go there.
That's massive denial and deflection.

Very true. God even warned us about that:

I think JTB's jumping to conclusions not based in fact without even knowing you and then ascribing his bogus assertions on everyone pretty much answers any reservations the rest of us might have had.

You’re NOT an American citizen? Wow, I thought you were hardcore American by the way you talk.
So now I’m curious where are you from.
I also don’t vote by the way cos it’s pointless and I‘m also not born in U.S.

@mailmandan is absolutely correct, he is not advocating for a "Christian theocracy" that is your straw man. He is advocating for the return to Judea-Christian priniciples and values, you know the ones the country was founded upon.

Your whole argument is based upon false presuppositions and straddling both lanes of conservatism and liberalism.

There is one dividing line.

Those who hold to the Constitution as a document as originalists and those who are progressive/Liberals and think the Constitution is a malleable document and rights can be inserted at will which were never part of the original "rights" or those even further down the progressive/liberal path that want to scrape the Constitution all together.

Sure.

Yes, please make a list of ultra right wing churches compared to progressive/liberal churches and we will see which list is longer.

It has nothing to do with anything.

You still cannot make a cogent argument against Trump and his record while in office.

Wouldn't you agree your disdain for Trump is purely emotional.

I really think you do not understand politics.
The two are not mutually exclusive.

He can care only about himself which is creating a legacy which involves making America great again.

Can you be more specific? I mean I don't know anyone 40 and over who doesn't have at least some knowledge of the damage socialism, Marxism, Communism can do to a country. Would you explain your comments a little more?
