God called Isreal his first born

Refering to them as sons before Jesus was born and before the holy spirit was given

Then God told us in Jeremiah many in Isreal in those days will be treacherous. Was God refering to those sons being saved when he said this .

You was quoting from the faith of a centurion. The centurion was saved to me. Jesus was talking to him about other sons
So you are saying that Matthew 13:38-42 is not in reference to the Judgment?

Going on lunch break. But consider that the phrase, “children of the kingdom“ also appears in Matthew 13:38, which clearly is the Judgment. If you were to read Matthew 13:41-42, it clearly is saying that believers who are doing sin or iniquity in Christ’s Kingdom will be cast out by Christ’s angels. Meaning, they are not going to make it into God’s Kingdom. Read the whole thing, then get back to me.

I believe the King James Bible is just fine. I believe it is the Word of God that the church believed for hundreds of years long before the Modern Translation movement began with Westcott and Hort.

Anyway, to know Jesus Christ is to keep His commandments (See: 1 John 2:3-4).
So if we are not keeping His commands we are not abiding in the Lord Jesus.
Nobody can have eternal life by not abiding in Christ (See: 1 John 5:12, and 2 Corinthians 13:5).
Knowing Jesus isn't keeping the commandments. Knowing Jesus is about experiencing the reality of Him living in and through you. Keeping the commandments is one of many evidences that this is so. It's not a causal relationship. The opposite is what is causal. Knowing Jesus is what leads to the keeping of the commandments.
And I never suggested that the KJV isn't a fine translation. But it isn't perfect. And what I shared is the proper understanding of the verse. You assume otherwise because of your understanding. That same understanding led you to believe the reference you gave in 1 John 2 and your explanation to be wrong. You read into the verse obedience equals eternal life. But knowing God and Jesus is eternal life and obedience merely a byproduct and evidence. In fact, the entire epistle is about ways we can know we have eternal life...1 John 5:13.

this is not the way to bless people and you know it 😔.

Your attitude as grown righteous in the wrong way and your pride is becoming of you. It's got so bad your now using scripture to scare people.

Im sure God knows what's happening with you too.

This is the only thread you've taken part in now for at least a week everyday.

With nothing but how your going to prove everyone wrong.

You should take a break

Indeed. But it’s more profitable if you understand it.
Take for example the cross references you gave. They talk about the end times when father and mother will betray you. This will be during the end times with the Antichrist enforcing the mark. But here is the thing that you probably did not consider before. Jesus said, “And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.” (Luke 8:21). John 16 says, “…the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” (John 16:2). So believers are going to betray other believers in this situation in defense of the antichrist. While I am not claiming to know which denomination or denominations are going to betray true faithful believers, the passage I quote stands as a beneficial principle to not confide in other believers in whom I disagree with involving the most important matters of the topic of sin and salvation. Why? Because they are not looking to help you to obey according to the Word. Meaning, they do not believe in confessing and forsaking sin in order to have mercy according to Proverbs 28:13. They hold to the view that all you have to do is just believe in Jesus and that’s it. It matters not how one lives in regards to salvation ultimately.

Knowing Jesus isn't keeping the commandments.
This is where you need to read the Bible more closely. You just spoke against God’s Word.

1 John 2:3 says,
”And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.”

1 John 2:4 says,
”He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

You said:
1 John 5:13.
1 John 5:1-3
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him [God] that begat [who gives life] loveth him [his brother] also that is begotten of him [born of God]. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”

1 John 3:10
” In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”

So obviously those who believe in the name of the Son of God who have eternal life will love the brethren and do righteousness. If not, they are not of God. So it’s not just a belief alone. If it was then they could just believe in Jesus and hate their brother and not do righteousness and still have eternal life. But this is simply not the case.

you've now got to point where your condemning every good scripture in the bible.

Either you have not read the New Testament or you have decided to ignore or change the many warnings that are given to us believers. Are you even aware that the Scriptures say that there are those who save with fear? Are you aware that we are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling? Why would Jesus warn us about certain sins being able to damn us to hell (See: Matthew 5:22, and Matthew 5:28-30)? Even the apostle Paul lists various sins and says they which do such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21).

This statement does not make any sense. I am just quoting the verse. How do you interpret as saying something different than what it says? For me, it is really clear in what it says.

yup his belittlement of others is shining with his own righteousness.

Generally how the law givers go.
If I just attacked folks and ran off that would be belittlement of others. My goal is to discuss the Scriptures here. I am asking for Scripture from your side. So far, I have not received any explanation with Scripture on the many verses I presented that refutes the Belief Alone position or the sin and still be saved type belief.
