The Davidic covenant.

Zech 12:10 King James Bible
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

2 Sam 7~~“The Lord declares to you that the Lord himself will establish a house for you: 12 when your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. 14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with a rod wielded by men, with floggings inflicted by human hands. 15 But my love will never be taken away from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you. 16 Your house and your kingdom shall endure for ever before me[2]; your throne shall be established for ever.” ’ 17 Nathan reported to David all the words of this entire revelation.
Are not all the promises of God in Christ yes,and in Him amen. The promises God made all find their fruition in Christ. This is embodied in the new covenant. The eternal throne doesn't have David sitting on it, but the One David represented.

2 Sam 7~~ 10 And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people shall not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning 11 and have done ever since the time I appointed leaders[1] over my people Israel. I will also give you rest from all your enemies. ‘ “The Lord declares to you that the Lord himself will establish a house for you:

2 Sam 7~~24 You have established your people Israel as your very own for ever, and you, Lord, have become their God.

“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:11-13, 19-22‬ ‭

yeah the Old Testament made a distinction between Hebrew and gentile the New Testament made one group of people out of both

“how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:3, 5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the New Testament makes this very clear

“For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:27-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The church began as the remnant of Israel who accepted the messiah and receive Gods spirit at pentocost then they began to call gentiles into e same kingdom the same group same family of God

the ot was when israel was sepereted by thier flesh and blood the nt is when they had become desolate like the rest of the world and god offered mercy to all now through the gospel

israel and gentile all people have the same doctrine same Hope same family same father based only upon Jesus Christ and the gospel regardless of thier flesh and blood identity

if you read the ot only it certainly sepereted isreal from the nations of you read the nt it’s all about removing that distinction and pointing all arrows to Jesus and the gospel for all men jew or gentile
Israel~~Gods chosen people.

Church~~His bride. When His bride is complete.......He deals with His chosen people.PERIOD

Oh but what is this latest heresy that I hear? Something about God losing His pocket watch?

Here is some "chronological order" for you buddy.....
The wise understand all of these passages BTW. The heretics? Not so much.

2Ki 25:1
And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against it round about.
Jer 52:4
And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it, and built forts against it round about.

Eze 24:1
Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying
Eze 24:2
Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.

Hag 2:10
In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:
Hag 2:18
Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid, consider it.
Why do you call people heretics on a subject that's not cut and shut and is open to interpretation.

Surely you see that your views can't be forced in this subject, by calling people heretics.

It's clear you dont like to be called a heretic.

And I only called you one to give you a taste of your own medicine.

Me and you where buddies for weeks, in the Ukraine thread tho I had completely forgot it was you I thought I knew you better than this.

What is going on with you really.

Why let yourself drop to this level when your not like this really 🤔

How could one NOT call a total rejection of Romans 9,10 and 11 and over half of the Bible heresy?

Sure. The old testament prefigures what is to come. That which we can see pictures that which we cannot...the spiritual reality. Everything eternal is in Christ. So what is pictured is spiritual Israel.

None of what I wrote alters Ephesians 2:14-15.

The time of the end prophecies in the Tanach such as Ezekiel 38-39 verifies the distinction between the nation of Israel and the church. Israel as a whole does not currently believe that Jesus is the messiah.

Yes, but when they do believe there is no separation. There is only the new man. The new man is neither Jew nor Greek. Nothing distinguishes in the body of Christ. And all believers make up the body of Christ.

speaking about separation of the wheat and the tares and chronological order do you think there was any saints in great tribulation before rev 14:14-16.

14 I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man[a] with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

There is no separation in Christ. There will still be different nations still after Jesus returns.

At the end of the thousand years, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, the bottomless pit. to deceive the nations.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Sure nations will exist. But there is no covenant that singles out any nation. God did covenant with 1 nation under the old covenant. No such covenant exists today. Why?

The profound distinction of the Church age escapes you. As does every other rank and order of the first resurrection.

Oh and another thing: you are (as usual) wrong in declaring that only ONE COVENANT is presently in force. It is evident that you MUST NOT be packing the gear to make such an erroneous assertion to begin with. So delving into the matter is a further waste of my time.

BTW......the difference between careful and accurate Biblical scholarship and baseless absurd useless opinion could not be more dichotomous than what can be observed on this thread.

ok so this absolutely doesn’t register with you then or is Paul a heretic ?

“how that by revelation he made known unto me ( Paul an apostle ) the mystery; which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed ( in the New Testament ) unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:3, 5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

whoever believes is the same to God because the messiah who was promised to save Israel , became the messiah of all people

“For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:29-30‬ ‭KJV

“For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:27-29‬ ‭

The church was consisting of any person that believed there already were gentiles on the church about half way through acts Peter preached to gentiles and they receive the Holy Ghost just as the Jews did first at pentocost ….

But it seems like you do t want to talk about the scriptures which is why I am here so I respect your opinion but have to agree with what the scriptures say so clearly in the New Testament

It’s hard to let the Bible change what we think beforehand that we’ve heard in church or read in tbe ot , so I understand that part

but the New Testament is meant to be how we interpret the old it’s okay though it doesn’t bother me if you disagree and I respect your right to your own view on the matter.

I like to discuss scripture but sometimes I notice people wont even adress what it says at that point it becomes a waste of time for me because that’s e reason I come here to talk about what the Bible says meaning actually what the scriptures say

It seems like you have a different opinion from me and that’s okay with me. But I do t see us agreeing because I’m o my here to discuss the Bible in this Bible discussion forum not so much just give you my opinions but actually talk about what it says with other people who are here for that purpose
