Hello.

I have been in university for six years on a three year course.
I am due to graduate but that might not not happen because i might face disciplinary action. Every year I am meant to graduate, something horrible in my life will occur and I am taken back. Things have ranged from failing modules, not being financially eligible to pay, being in a horrible car accident when I was due to write exams, to my father passing away and now stupid mistake of cheating in a test because I was so desperate to finish and get a job so my life can move on.

I need the Lord's intervention. I feel like there is a curse upon my life that I amount to nothing. People have told me before that I will amount to nothing and I feel that is now manifesting.
Please help me break this curse through prayer and to be able to graduate. I need this more than anything right now.

Thank you for your help

Hugs Emm, dont let the thief try and steal God's plan and joy from you.
For as scripture says, man may plan his course, but God determines his steps. :)
Just know, God is with you in every step you take, even the difficult ones.
Ill be praying in Jesus for you.

Im glad you figured out how to post and welcome to CC! :)
God bless

Hi sister Emm There are a lot of things going on around ic from South Africa. many look for shortcuts in life,i sure know i have!! LOL In finding the shortcuts we desire, we also find consequences from those shortcuts!( Colossians 3:25!) Both dear sister in rewards( heb 11:6) and in consequences, the Lord himself is not partial to in either.

I have made plenty of mistakes from shortcuts in my life as well! Sometimes we curse ourselves because we have become to prideful, and we become prideful so that we can defend the evil of those around us.So there is purpose to ones pride! The problem with it is that pride has a lease to it,it chokes us,it looks to put ones own mind upon self, rather then others, pride complains,it blames others for the wrong we our self did,it looks for help in words, but not in action.

All these things I did learn sis. And sad to say,not the easy way either! BUT!!! There is an escape!!( 1 cor 10:13)!! If I choose to depend upon Jesus and believe what he says rather then what I feel or think,I in him, am made whole again, and overwhelmingly conquer all troubles and worries through the Word he gave me to use!!( rom 8:37-39)

For no matter the mistakes and lack we all have, there can be both maturing and growing in grace to others through our various trials!(heb 10:36) and 2 peter 3:18!) The purpose to endure mistakes is so that we will finally draw near to Jesus through them! Because now our mindset( col 3:2) is seeking his very will for our lives! So that when all is well,we still draw near to Jesus as well! Another words, obtaining balance in ones own life!( proverbs 11:1-2!!)

One way or another, we cannot remain babies in Christ for very long,i wish I could of!! LOL But if the Lord did not look to correct us,then how could we really say he loves us? You have got the attention you wanted sis,the problem is the way you obtained it.As was so true in my case as well!

We place the focus upon where it should be now! WE are learning the meaning of not only being, but staying accountable for all of our actions, as well as our words. Whether we like it or not! If we learn, then we become rewarded, and if we do not learn, consequences are the wide path we stay on.

I remember holy Spirit speaking these words to me in prayer one afternoon.( matt 13:14-15,then asking me why? Your eyes can only become blessed by what you choose to see both in my word, and faith comes by hearing as well!!( rom 10:17) So speak my word out loud when you read my word!

Of course sister I am far from being perfected myself!BUT!!! One thing I do, do!! Forget what lies behind and reach forward to what lies ahead!!Jesus is in front of you holding out his hand for you to take sis!( phil 3:12-14!) Take his hand sis,and learn, as i did to understand what becoming led by Holy Spirit truly means!( rom 8:14-15)

I can tell you this! With perfect assurance and perfect truth, you will not only become rewarded, but stay that way through Christ Jesus as well! My prayers are of course for you,and with you sis!! Learn to place your memory upon God's Word, rather then your feeling and emotion, balance will surly arrive with a great smile upon you,as well as others who will see our Jesus in you,and in your words!!( col 4:6)

This scripture woke me up! Colossians 3:5-17!!! waking up in ones own sleep can be a shock at first, but later comes balance in all areas of ones own life,so that you now have the ability through our Jesus to encourage another to practice what we ourselves preach and live!!( james 1:22!) amen!
