I have heard many sermons telling us that the battle is for the mind. God tells us to put on the helmet of salvation.
There is scripture teaching us that darkness can not be with Light. Gods word is Light. There is scripture telling us to be filled with the Holy Spirit daily. Ask for this filling? Thats what I was doing when I was in the place that if anything negative would attempt at messing with me spiritually. Like say a spirit of fear. All I had to do was say. Lord! I am being messed with. It would then flee.

Knowing now what the Scriptures teach me/us. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Darkness can not be with light.
I can not over emphasize the amount of time that I was actively seeking the Lord back then, Talking with the Lord, Asking to be filled with the Holy Spirit daily.
I was Reading the Bible, Listening to Christian radio all day. Climbing to the tops of mountains for the sole purpose of speaking with the Lord. That was nineteen years ago. The closeness that I received with the Lord back then, is much
of my rock of faith that I stand on today.

Christian radio is awesome. Keeps one in the word 24/7 if they wish. They do get into Christian music and Christian news
also. I had a little clock radio in my living room for listening to Christian radio. I took it outside while working on the boat for listening to sermons.
I ended up dropping it in a bucket of antifreeze. That killed it. No Christian radio in my living room for two weeks.
I can really tell the difference of having Gods word playing in my main living area. compared to only silence or worldly music. Upbeat Christian music is pretty good, gets me moving also.

I did a online search for radios with the best FM reception. SAUGEAN WR 2 table top radio. Rated #1. Sound quality is really up there also. Hopefully makes them Sermons sound live. I should receive mine on Oct 27. Ebay shipped from Canada.

I pray to the Lord that he fills you with His Holy Spirit. I ask the Lord that he fill you so full of the Holy Spirit that there is no room for any darkness to dwell in you.

If when your half your prepared to go back down for something like to help someone or something after you had a gruelling climb knowing that the farther will help you reclimb the stairway. Its easy.
I have had fun with thre lord for 2 weeks now I built a tent in my back garden and it should have blown many times but i know the farther has blessed it. And to day after I don't need it anymore and finished spray painting my van its blown down but incan rebuild no problem.
Its Been an amazing two weeks with the lore every time there has been danger iin have known and I have to say my life is getting better day by day because iI'm no longer afraid to face fear in the eye walk away and show love? K and forget there are dragons to slay

When Christ Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tempted, He ONLY used Scripture to back the enemy off.
We can't fight the enemy that can only lie to us and when we're "tempted of our own lusts", with just some sort of rebukes.
There's only two voices in the spiritual realm - the enemy's or God's Words. We don't remove our flesh by saying things with or by our flesh.
We need to be "filled with The Word of God" in order for our flesh to only think the thoughts of God and that's what resists the enemy as well - as with Jesus' time of temptation.
Jesus 'is' The Word of God - so who are we feeding on?

I agree with the advise given also - to shut down TV and turn on Christian radio and be 'filled' with things that are only from the Voice of God. How else can we be "transformed by the 'renewing' of our minds"?
I threw my TV in the dump a long time ago and when I 'have to' watch it at somebody else's place that I'm caring for - I sure do feel like I need to come home and get a refreshing from The Lord - and they don't watch anything but the Hallmark channel or classics - but it still isn't based on 'spiritual' reality - the commercials make me sick inside too.

Good good good great big christian pat on the back .
I dontn like television no more now I only like my tablet. My tablet is heaven the lord has blessed my tablet and my house he has blessed everything and everyone in my world . the television in my house has been switched of for 1 week now last time i switched it i was immediately hit with some dirty love scene with some yucky yuc yuc situation.
Put it this way it was that yucky i immeditely shot my tv remote like a gun at the television and blasted it off, it was a very zinzerios quickfire moment k . i just got up at the crack i spent 6 hours lat night befor sleep cleaning and rearanging my living room it looks so good now I decided to sleep here last night my freedom in my own house is truly blessed I torn down my net curtains to and I made my six glass so clean that I real this morning I have woke gazing out of the window I wondered if in was a new world. Amen

I was about to respond and wrote a few words soon after you posted this to say how I was looking through blessing pictures and there was a sacrilegious picture among them that was very disgusting, grotesque, and unsettling... Well I only got a few words written and I heard someone opened the door downstairs and entered my home, at 4 in the morning, my dog sounded and although frightened I started downstairs and called out "ethos there" (hmm, I typed who's but my auto correct changed it to ethos but it might even fit better) I hesitated a moment before rounding the corner but did and saw the person had left. I am shaken but returned to ask for a prayer covering for me and my house as the spirit leads. I try to keep strong in faith but this has really gotten to me, I am not sure it has really hit me fully yet.

Thanks for all the support guys, I am rejoicing today in this moment of victory, it might be a short one because of the spirit of stumbling, but I feel that I am getting back on track, now its a matter of just eltting the past go, and this will take time because I have within that stumbling spirit some uncooperativeness. In short, part of my self is uncooperative and irrational for a bit, but its getting and has now gotten better the moment i started typing these last words.

It has gotten better, thanks for your prayers so much guys, I am in the middle of the testing but God is working towards by bettering and the improvement of my walk with Him through the continual trust and surrender which yields fruit that is uncomparable to the results of no relationship and also the truth about the devil and the enemy. I have learned to not be afraid of Satan because he cannot do anything at all, it's only if I let him, and I do not intend to let him. My stumblingblocks are that I seem to keep letting the devil try to ruin my life through my words that invite spiritual warfare in, but I am more assured now that Christ is working in me to continually cleanse me and thankfully that he gives me an assured state of mind as I keep going in the way he asks me to walk. In JESUS NAME I DECLARE VICTORY OVER SATAN EVERY DAY FROM TODAY TO DEATH AND THAT HE CANNOT HURT ME AND THAT I AM THE RESPONSIBLE ONE AND THAT I PRAY FOR DELIVERANCE FROM THE THINGS, THAT I COULD BE DELIVERED NOT FROM MYSELF BUT THAT I COULD BE SAVED FROM THE SINFUL NATURE AND SIN ITSELF. Hi gang, just reporting back, that there is deliverance happening, people have prayed, and now I am okay. I am worn out and my energy is depleted from the battle, and the devil is still sort of tormenting me with some strongholds, I want to repent of legalism and of sin, but it's tough because I have been here for a long time. I want to also repent of perversions that are in my heart so I can return to a normal life. I want to back to normal living but I am having a hard time, so please pray for me. Thanks.!
