YES! I can only praise Him for the many women who were touched by His words. I was only the vessel - and it was a tiring day. In the morning I spoke for 45 min. Then in the afternoon I had three work sessions of 45 minutes each, where there was time for questions, etc.
Very tired tonight - but I know that your prayers helped hold me up through it all. Many people wanted to see me for personal counseling. Which will keep me busy in the next weeks or.....
One man who handled the video taping, etc. came up to me and probably blessed my day more than anyone. As most of you know, I do artwork on scripture all the time, so his comments to me really resonated.
It seems that I'm pretty tied to notes when I speak. He suggested that I only draw what I'm going to speak on. Pictures on a page instead of words. What happens is that when you see words, you get sort of "mental" about it, but looking at pictures takes you more into the feeling of what you are saying, but will still remind you of what you are to say. Very freeing. I can't wait to try it.
I have been asked to give this same talk to another group, and will only have pictures before me next time.
