Ive been suffering from depression most all my. Life. and on antidepressants for over 10 years. Ive tried to wean off many times but wasnt successful. I tried several months ago and thought I was ok but after a few months began to sink lower and lower. I ended up quitting the case/job I had. Now I've begun back on an antidepressant which is probably the weakest one (since Im still determined to eventually get off them). But just would like prayer to work fulltime and not be depressed. Also, I would like to remarry but am not sure if it's allowed since my divorce was not due to infidelity or abuse.
I'm sorry you're going through depression. I'm bipolar so I can relate. But listen, God loves you soooooo much? You're His daughter. I truly believe that He will help you. God uses our tragedies to make a triumph for others. You're gonna be okay. Elijah had bouts of depression and He was very very very Godly. Remember when He heard Jezabell or whatever her name is was going to kill him? He ran and He told God He didn't wanna live anymore. And do you remember God's response? He sent an Angel to give Him food and rest. Then He met Elijah on the moumtain akd in a still small voice He asked "Elijah what are you doing here?" He's concerned for you. He cares about how you're feeling. So you're not alone. Whenever you start stressing or getting low go into a completely quiet and dark space like a closet or a bathroom and just talk to God. It's just You and Him tell Him everything. You may be surprised He could even answer You. You'll feel more peaceful afterward reguardless. So yeah, stay strong. Hold on.
