Background story:

In 2010, my mom and sister moved out of state. I stayed behind for school, a man and just wanting to be on my own. I struggled but after a couple of years and boyfriends later, I managed to eek out an existence. In 2012, I met my daughter's father and became pregnant. I had her in 2013 and after almost a year of struggling in an awful relationship, being a new mom with no help, and staying at home (against my better judgment) and making myself dependant on my boyfriend. In August this year, God (who speaks through both my sister and my mom) had them purchase plane tickets to move with them. I didn't want to go permanently but I also hated the run down home and lifestyle that her dad was happy to provide us. I left, leaving everything behind but my purse, camera, and my daughter's stroller. When we arrived, I learned quickly that things were set in motion by God. I was to leave her father and my old life behind and start over with my daughter here. I was hard headed though. See, her father is a dangerous person when he does not get his way or like something. God has made us aware that my life is in danger as long as he wants to see our daughter. He has already shown up here multiple times. We have purchased guns and placed restraining orders on him. So he is considered a threat.

Now, God has always given us a heads up when we need to be on alert for him. One night, I was at home with her and they called to tell me God said to be on alert. I fell asleep like a dummy. They came home and woke me up. God was very angry at my lack of concern. He told me Eden would be put with a different family. Now, since then, He's said I can petition Him to get her back. She is still with me right now but He's said as of now, I can not keep her. He's said I can be in her life but just not as her mother. So I do petition Him but I'm asking others to petition Him as well. I love my daughter. I want her with me. I want to be an awesome mom for her. She has the gift of sight and I need to be able to care for her on that front as well. Please help pray for this situation to be resolved.[/FONT]

I don't fully understand your situation. It sounds as if that your daughter is with you but you feel that God is angry with you and is telling you that you are to give your child up to some unknown entity such as the state or for adoption. You are now at your mother's place, is this correct?

I don't believe for a minute that God is telling you to give up your daughter. Your spiritual status is unknown to me so I will only tell you that you cannot do this on your own. It is evident to me that the presence of God has been lacking in your life. You did not mention whether or not that Jesus is your savior. I urge you to look into your heart and if the Holy Spirit is not living inside that you confess your past sinful life to Jesus with a contrite heart, ask Him to help you change your life and go with His positive direction and invite the Holy Spirit to live inside of you. It is critical that you do this if you have not done so already. This will insure your salvation and God will now be present in your life to assist you in these present difficulties, to show you to how be a good mother to your daughter and to guide you in moving forward with your life. Ask God also to protect you and your daughter from your former boyfriend. He will surround you with His protection.

May God bless you and guide you in this time of great need. Welcome to CC.

Are your Mom and sister telling you that God said your daughter would be taken away but that you could petition Him so that would not happen?

I am saved, yes. Jesus has snatched me back from a sinful detour. I was saved as a child and then somewhere in my teen years, I just stopped seeking him and went down the wrong road. He didn't just take her away from me. He warned me that if I didn't listen to him, He would take her. As in, I didn't want to discipline her the way he said, He's told me I was not a fit mother, that I didn't care about her as I chose to continue living in that crappy situation with her dad. Plus my relationship with Him is not close enough to be able to handle having a child with sight. Of course, at the time I was also being resistant to changes. I complained a lot which he let me know was against Him and a sin. I was stubborn and didn't want to follow directions. So He said my daughter will go to my aunt and uncle. They have an adopted child already and want another anyway. My aunt can not have children. We got to the point where I even brought her to their home for a week or so to visit and get her acclimated. However, God did not allow this to go through due to my aunt's issues. I realize "issues" is vague but I would have to write a book to explain. Basically, she is a horrible parent to her adopted child, she only agreed to the adoption because my uncle loves kids and wanted them and she can't have any. God said she can't have my daughter.

Yes. God speaks through both of them. My uncle also hears his voice but God has never had my uncle to relay anything to me so far. I even remember testing it at first to make sure because I had doubts. It is indeed God. Only He would know some of the things He had my mom and sister tell me.
