My Nana and my sister who are both unbelievers are visiting for Christmas and they will be here from Dec 22nd till Jan 8th and my Mom and step-dad who I live with are also unbelievers. The last time my Nana visited for Christmas I had to keep silent, the looks on my face judged non-stop including if my eyes where to look up or down or the right or the left, I was grilled for my faith by my whole family but wasn't allowed to defend myself I just had to take it, I simply existed I had no voice no opinion and was forced to sit with Nana for long periods of time forced to do nothing but just sit there and be quiet. I don't wanna go through all that again it was so horrible. If I voiced my faith at all I was screamed at or the tv turned up so loud that I couldn't be heard. Please pray for me please pray the GOD will show up and make Himself known in an undeniable way and that He will be glorified and that they will be forced into silence not me.

Jenny, don't fear. Fear is torment, and you know Jesus gives us peace, that surpasses human understanding. One day those folks may not be around. Stay in the fruit of the Holy spirit, have patience, meekness, love, long suffering, gentleness, you know all 9. Look them up. It doesn't matter what they think, it matter's what you think on, and think about Jesus through out this time. Jesus be with Jenny. amen :)

Sis, this is really hard and sad. Are you allowed to find a radio station that plays Christmas music when they're there? I know that's pricked my father's heart a few times when we had that Holiday Station that plays seasonal music on it on TV. He'd go to 'sing-a-long' and realize the lyrics and sort of get stuck.

Sometimes, like with my family - all I can do is pray to find the 'right' Christmas cards that say enough and tell them my favorite Christmas carols, as they're all music oriented.

I'm sighing much over your post. This is so incredibly sad. Will pray for wisdom and for you to get it from Him as well - as this is hitting me with just, I guess it's shock of sorts. Can't believe that that's what any of us would have to go through for Christmas or any other day. God Help you dear Sister and pray you 'feel' His Mercy being poured out on you.
Praying - in His Love

Sometimes it is not our words that speak the loudest testimony of our faith and what Jesus did for us but rather our actions. God will use you as long as you desire to be used by him even if you aren't seeing how. I will pray for you, your situation and those whom you'd like to see come to know the same saving grace. And do not be discouraged if you do not see a work taking place. Gods timing is not our own.

Perhaps you should grill back. Don't be contentious, don't be haughty, but answer questions with questions as Jesus so often did. Get them thinking, and perhaps that will deter them from grilling.

All the best to you, Jenny. :)

Have trust dear... I know it is hard, this one is hard to me too, but it works when I do it.
If you worry, you are preparing your own words and solutions, and cluttering the road so HIS words and solutions wont get through...

Matthew 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Hope this comforts you too:
Matthew 27:14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.
We are not greater than Him. Maybe God wants you to embrace it like HE did, to shame the unbelieving with your peace.

I have faith that you will pass this trial and that God will be glorified. amen in Jesus' name
