i would like to ask for pray for emotional healing due to hurt caused by my ex husband-- I need to let him go and leave him in the hands of the FATHER. I need to move on and continue in my ministry that GOD gave to me--- also I have been hurt by some here on CC who continue to ridicule people instead of praying for them---and they use scripture to justify their ridicule by saying they have the right to call out false teachers--yes we do but GOD calls us to be higher than them and to pray for them-- i dont get why people think they have a right to be cruel with their words when the bible clearly states to keep our mouths shut if its not edifying or encouraging--- so much immaturity here---who are we in CHRIST? this kind of talking --GRIEVES the HOLY SPIRIT within me.. meaning these mean- prideful-gotta tear down people with words spirits are causing grief in me and others here--it is not edifying nor encouraging--God HATES this BAD FRUIT--this website may fall because their is no moderating the BAD FRUIT- the bad fruit will grow unless we the children of GOD start PRAYING MORE and ridiculing LESS. I serve GOD--not people- I will please GOD not people--SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD and all else will be added. PLEASE PRay for me, my family here, and the website- thanks GBU you prayer warriors --its you who really make a difference in this world---:)

Hi, It seems a cruel world to me, which it is. It seems when we are low we want lifting up, but there are so many who are hurtful and cruel, I have learnt to not lean on people and lean on God instead. People will always let us down, especially when we are in that lonely place. We have to think about God and try our best to focus. I am glad that the lord has shown me the ways of others. Its a shame about this site as it could be marvellous for many, all it needs is good people.

Would you feel comfortable sharing the ministry you are in? Could it be that what you are experiencing is to enlarge it in some way?

I pray that the Lord put a deep peace in your heart.

I've heard it said that those that hurt us most are those we love most. My heart goes out to you for what you've gone through, both outside of the site, as well as here on CC, A4J. Prayers for healing and improvement.

I've been in prayer and meditation over this kind of think for a bit now. There was a woman living in a sinful state asking for prayers. People of course commented, offering advice, education, criticism, and yes ridicule to her. She got angry and snippy at many people here, and I called her on it. But subsequent interaction got me thinking... when someone asks for a prayer, how much are we allowed to interfere with that? Should we just shut up and say the prayer without commentary? (Is it reasonable to expect that in a media such as this?). Can we pray for something we know to be wrong according to the Word of God, without stopping to address the perceived wrong? It's hard to do, and yes some of us are a little rough around the edges. There's one man here I've come to respect and know to be a true servant of God. He never makes a comment. Just raises a word or two before God on behalf of the request. And he's here - in the prayer forum - all the time. And I'm not saying that to applaud him, I'm wondering why we all aren't more like that. You know, here's someone facing an issue, having had enough advice and seeking Divine intervention, and obviously some people here have only added to the fire. Sometimes we should maybe withhold the commentary and instead give it to God. (And sometimes we should remember just where it is we're posting our intimate needs). And let's remember that someone who's new and with few posts is here because they need divine intervention, not more worldly advice (you know what I mean).

So. That's my 2 cents to us readers. to Audacious4Jesus

Father God, I come before you in agreement with Audacious4Jesus, that You provide healing in her relationships, heading in her ministry, and humility in those around her. Holy Spirit remind us all and give us discernment in how we respond to our brothers and sisters, especially the new ones. And yes bless those who run this website. May Audacious4Jesus be blessed by her time spent here.

Amen

I believe we are, as led. There are actually many prayer requests that shouldnt be out there.
Personally, it causes me grief, so I dont say anything.
I also have difficulty agreeing with a petition when it is being withheld from me what I'm praying for, to be honest.
