This is a long story so here goes.

Back in November, I ran into an old classmate at work. We immediately started talking and I asked her if she was interested in dating or whatever. She said yes and went on to explain some method to ensure things work out. I asked God for help on the matter and next thing I know, I'm her new neighbor in this duplex.

So I'm excited, I start preparing myself mentally to ensure I don't end up on the high horse. I wanted to do it right. A month goes by and I start following her method. Buy the book The Five Love Languages, but don't open it. She's against the book but likes the subtitle. Easy peasy.

But then she wants me to punch a small hole in a styrofoam cup in a certain spot as a sign of whether or not I am trust worthy or not. Fail.

And whether or not she is willing to talk is determined by the length of time she moves a chair across the floor. I had until she stopped to go knock on her door. I missed the opportunity because I had to do the dishes of all times. I live with my mom and she has no idea of any of this and I didn't want her getting overwhelmed and ruining anything in the process.

As soon as I was done, I threw some clothes on and went over there, but this lady opens the door and tells me no one lives there by her name. Despite her sincerity, I knew she was lying because the girl told me in advance this could happen. But that was still painful to experience.

She bought a dog to ensure I stay away and if I make any attempt "fix things" she'll call the police for stalking.

Also, she has decided she'll never trust another guy again.

Sorry if that first one was a bit curt. This girl is playing games, and you're letting her. The best advice is to forget her and move on, before she causes real trouble.

Praying for you both.
