Lonely lady in the big city.

Hello friends,

I just moved to the city and don't know anyone. I'm asking for prayers for me to be more outgoing, friendly and open so I can make new friends. I am a bit lonely and worry that my introverted ways will prevent me from meeting some great people. I'm also asking for prayers to find a good church with life groups that will also help me meet new people.

Bring Heather some friends that will be attracted to her quiet nature. Also direct her to a perfect church that will meet her needs spiritually and socially.

Father God,

I pray for sister Heather, that You will cause a change in her and her circumstances that she may meet with God-fearing, supportive friends. Lead her to a Church that glorifies the Name of Jesus and the work that he has done on the cross, LORD. Let that place for her be filled with Your Word, for truly Your Word is the Book of Life and Life more abundant.

Teach this sister also, that the key to banishing loneliness is to be alone with Jesus. Remind her that having time with You, LORD, is the key to having an abundant, grace-filled life.

LORD, thank You for all the things that You have already set into motion for Heather. Only You have been ahead and You have seen tomorrow for our sakes. Thank You that we have hope- that we have an expectation for good blessings because of what Jesus has done on the cross.

I just wanted to thank you all. You were very kind.

Things have been going well! I found a prayer group, life group and hopefully a permanent church. Impressive for the first week and a half! HE is leading me!! And I live close to a soup kitchen (ran by another church) that I am going to volunteer at, so that will help me meet more people. Not to mention, I live close to the public library and hope to make it down there to join a book club.

Thank you, again, everyone! Please, reply and tell me how I can be praying for you.

Thank You, Father, for answering our prayers and blessing Heather with all these opportunities. I pray that you will guide her as she journeys in this new phase in life. Grant her wisdom and discernment to make the right decisions, LORD. Protect her in her comings and her goings and comfort her with your unfailing peace.

Guide the hearts and tongues of her new friends, LORD. Put wisdom in their minds as they grow together in fellowship with Heather. Reveal to them Your beauty and your mercy daily.
