Please keep my grandma Irene in your prayers. She is in a nursing home and she hasn't been eating much. My father is having a hard time visiting her because he feels like she just wants to die by not eating and laying down all day. He even needs prayers and my dads name is David. I also need prayers because I have Marijuana Urges and have been going to Narcotics Anonymous meetings. I also need prayers to stay away from porn on the internet. So many addictions I have that I know aren't right, urgh. Please pray for us all!

It would help to know how old this woman is. And it is very normal for a sick old person to have their appetite shut down and to sleep much of the time. Bodies shut down slowly towards the end of a life. I'm sure the doctors or nurses are monitoring her, and everyone else just needs to go with her "flow". Even though it is hard for families to see the aging process of a sick person, it is part of life. I was a hospice chaplain for years.
I bless the day she was born, and praise the Lord for the life she has lived thus far. I pray for her spirit to be greatly comforted and to be at peace during this time.
Jesus, reveal your presence even more strongly to her, and bring about your touch of healing for her body, soul and spirit. Strengthen David's faith in the knowledge of his mother's life being in your hands and that you will always meet her needs. Let your glory be seen in this situation through this woman and the people who take care of her.

Brother Beeskillet, we have no power in ourselves to overcome temptation. Sure, we can refrain sometimes but when those overwhelming urges surge through our blood whereas we let our carnal nature take control, THAT is the time to run to the throne room of grace and expose our heart to God the Father. Don't let guilt and shame and discouragement make you hide. The Lord WANTS you to run to him just the way you are. Run to Him with CONFIDENCE that you can receive mercy and help in your time of need. Jesus has forgiven you and will deliver you every time!
If you screw up, run again to Him crying how you screwed up! Forgiveness and mercy and grace and help is yours every single time. Again and again run to the Lord and get restored again and again... until your nature becomes that of dependence on the Lord. Never hide these things from the Lord. He died on the Cross just for this reason, so that you can come boldly to Him to receive His perfect love which covers all our sin.
Father God, thank You for Your hand upon this family. Holy Spirit, be glorified in this household, in this precious grandmother's (Irene) life, in Beeskillet's dad's (David) life, in Beeskillet's personal life in You, Lord. We agree that all things work together for good to them which love the Lord and are called according to Your purpose. We pray peace and grace and victory in Jesus for this dear family. I know how hard it is to deal with a grandparent in a nursing home, my grandma has been in one for almost a year in March. My grandpa died a few days later, so I sympathize with you on that point.
Lord Jesus,
I lift up beeskillet's entire family to you. I pray that with this stuff that is currently going on this would be used as a testimony for everyone involved. I also pray for salvation for everyone in and close to this family. Father God you are in Control and only you can heal this family.
