Need God more than anything

Wow.. where do I start. I have recently gone through a divorce and have been through a lot of stress with finding someone new and doing some not so good things with them.

Because of this I have hit rock bottom. I suffer from mental illness and find myself struggling with lows and also being very manic and spending money impulsively when I should be paying rent... I need God right now.

I need him and need prayers to turn my life around again... He saved me through Baptism of the Holy Spirit and I fell into complete Sin by dishonering my Church, my friends, family but most of all I dishonered my Father in Heaven.

I am so ashamed of myself and just need some support more than anything because sometimes I feel as if God isn't there but I need Him more than anything....

Gracious Heavenly Father,

I pray You will convict this brother of Your goodness, remind him that You have redeemed us of our sins and because of Your blood on the cross, we are completely forgiven of all our sins. Help hi to realise that sometimes it is better to be quiet and rest in Your Word and trust in Your timing.

LORD, heal his broken heart and restore to him his faith. Teach him Your restoration and give him assurance in Your Word.

Saviour,

I lift this child of yours to Your throne of grace today. Take away all her confusion and feelings of condemnation. Let her know that You went to the cross beaten and broken so that we may claim wholeness and restoration through Your work on the cross.

Give her the conviction of Your righteousness that she may come boldly to Your throne and claim all the blessings that Jesus blood has purchased for us. Restore her mind and heart, and give her your peace which transcends all understanding that she may rebuild her life and glorify your name through her life.

Help this girl to stay true to the path that will bless her, and forgive her for the times she has already strayed from you. May your Spirit guide her with the choices she will be faced with.

Thank you for caring about the details of her life. You care about her as if she is your only creation. You understand the challenges and temptations of her life. Be near her today and whisper reminders that you are close and holding her as your child. Clear her mind so that she will able to live wisely.
