Good morning everyone heres the latest on my SIL-

Last night right before we went to bed... my husband called his MIL and she said Kellie is doing so much better! The surgeon finally came in to see her, and he asked her to hold up 2 fingers... and SHE DID!!! She was responding well to the doctor and getting the treatment she needs!!! Yes!!!

I know this battle isn't over yet, cause until shes in her own big huge recovery room (where more than 2 people can be in at a time) its still critical. She has been a real trooper, and we know she wont believe when she wakes up how long she was out... and how she was poistioned and where they went in to do the surgery... cause THAT blew MY mind away.

She was on a surgical table, face down, slanted at an angle to where her head was closest to the ground, and the doc went in behind her neck in that spot right between the bottom of her skull... and went UP to find the big tumor, removed it, and carefully cleaned the mess the caused and then carefully worked his way out and sewed her back up. WOW... remarkable isnt it???

Again I am going to see her today, for a little while and i hope this time she is awake and talking. I will update when I learn more.

Thank you all SO VERY MUCH for praying for my SIL... this means more to me than you all will EVER know. <3

I am so sorry peeps... I was so worn out last night, I actually went to bed at 9pm... and slept till about 30 mins ago. (thats unusal for me) but this morning I got an update.... my SIL STILL hasnt woken up yet... she has been removed off the vent.... but she wont wake up. she has tubes and stuff on her face and shes trying to take them off... so someone has to be in her room with her to keep her from touching them. this worries everyone that shes not waking up. so they are going to do another CT scan on her today to see whats going on... I'm not really worried about this, cause I know she was having trouble sleeping all the time... so the way I see it, shes caching up on a lot of much needed sleep.

LittleBit asked me to put up a message about how her sister-in-law is doing now.
"Praise the Lord, her blood pressure is controlled and stable. She is doing better, now she just needs to wake up."

Blessed good news. smiley-hug002.gif Continued prayers for her full recovery after such an amazing surgery. God is good. And I agree she is probably catching up on much needed rest. What a trauma for the body to endure, surgery such as that. Fear not God has her in his hands and all will be as he wills it. You are not alone. Nor is she.

Update on SIL-

Last night old family friends came up to see her, and she had an actual conversation with them... and sat up in her bed to give them both hugs goodbye... but still not opening her eyes.. This is a huge step, she can talk to us now (I'm guessing) but she just cant open her eyes. This evening after work im going up there to see her and let you all know her progress. the only downside is at night its bad. it gets bad at night. Her fever goes up, she gets restless... so she just needs prayer to get through the nights as easily as one can... being in a hospital bed isn't the ideal place to be i Know that, but until she opens her eyes and talks to us, she cant have anything to drink or eat... they have a feeding tube in her, but its nothing like real food..

Update on SIL-

Man. God is GOOD!!!! She is doing so much better now!! her temp is steady, her blood pressure is steady, now all we gotta do is try to keep her eyes open for longer than a minute at a time. It will take her awhile, but i so so thankful and so blessed that shes coming back around to us. My boss at work (he is a pharmD ) told me where her tumor was... it's the area of her brain that controls her temperature and her blood pressure levels... said the reason why they are going out of whack and is cause the tumor is gone. which makes sense! I cant thank you all enough for keeping the prayers coming for Kellie, Im not sure she's aware of the prayer chain we have going here. lol OH and to top it off, I got to see her eyes open!!! She is trying so hard to keep her eyes open now, and from what I understand, she keeps dreaming/re-living memories.... its like shes stuck in the twilight zone and shes having a bit of trouble coming to reality. Hopefully she goes home soon, I know that hospital bed is super uncomfortable and I know she wants real food, a real shower and water to drink lol.

Again, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!! From the bottom of my heart. <3

smileys-hugs-765537.gif God is good indeed. So glad to read this update. Keeping you all in prayer. Just think, when she fully recovers she can dance out of that hospital and into a warm shower, a real dinner, and a soft relaxing bed. Surrounded by the love of God and with her eyes wide open.

Wee, I'm so excited for your family that this healing is going so well.

Hello My CC family-

SIL is doing great!!!

She is eating whole foods now, shes eating soft foods, but she has a hard time feeding herself. So shes needs help with that a little bit.

She is going through physical Therapy, to help her re-learn everything.

She is awake more, but sleeps every time I go see her. But nonetheless, she is getting better. I am so thankful she's out of the "danger zone", and is able to heal with no more issues. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!!
