Prayer for the unbelieving

It was laid on my heart today.

God, you know that we are all dust, and those without You didnt even get to see any of Your light and glory - so tragic lives they lead, not having ever known the joy and safety that is in Jesus. Have pity on them God, and heal them, dont let them reach the end of the road where they're headed. Open their minds and eyes to understand that there is nothing in this world and nothing out of You, that it's all worthless vexation and constant loss without any stability and hope. They are poor and have nothing, although some might even think they are rich and have it going on. Make them understand God, like you made us see sometime in the past. We were not better than them, we have all sinned. We know that you do not rejoice in death of a sinner and have no profit in it. Praying in hope that You will shine Your light upon them and cause them also to GLORIFY YOU for what You have done for us, add one more voice that will praise You, God. Increase the number of those who praise You for Your goodness and mercy today. Capture their hearts forever when they expect You the least. Lead us in Your way so they will see You in us. Give us Your words to speak to them, and power to love them with Your love, use us to help them understand. Overcome our weaknesses and imperfections. Make us stand so we could help them. Praying this for all people that dont know Jesus. amen

My oldest child is a nonbeliever. I started her in church at an early age and she was baptized, but as she got older, she displaying an unbelieving personality. Drawings(satanic symbols, blood, etc), nicknames, attention-seeking, etc, things opposite of the things of God. We have never had much of a mother-daughter relationship anyway, because she slowly began this sometime after her sister was born. I've punished her for her rebellious behavior, but over time it got extremely worse. We've even had arguments and fights because she wanted to have her way. She is an adult now with my first granddaughter and lives in another state about an hour from where I live. We have reconnected somewhat, but its a bit of a strain for me. I'm driving to see her and the baby, she is living with her boyfriend/fiancé. I'm putting a lot of wear and tear on my vehicle, but what else can I do to keep a connection with her and my granddaughter? I'm not willing to compromise my faith for the sake of my daughter, what can I do?

There is not any more than you are doing now, showing love and support. When teachable moments arise, even with my 3 adult children, who are nonbelievers, I try to share with them what the love of Jesus has meant to me. God bless you in your heartache. Jesus draws all who have heard the good news, and it's up to them to answer His call. We do live in an idolatrous world, but not necessarily more than ever before. Give the comfort, and show of light of Christ and give Him the glory! Amen.

Jesus, give us abundant overflowing of Your peace. Let them feel Your peace coming from us and make them unable to forget, make them become jealous of us and seek Your peace and crave it like nothing else until they find You and become Yours. One Christian monk said, "if you can only keep the peace of God within you, through your peace thousands will be saved". May it be so to us all amen, Lord Jesus. Help us be upright, and let Holy Spirit touch everyone we come to contact with. Amen in Jesus' name
